As I was enjoying the rare moment of peace when my phone buzzed, cutting through the silence. I glanced at the screen; it was STAR Labs. I answered, expecting the usual chaos, but instead, Cisco's voice came through, a mix of urgency and excitement.
"Matthew, we got a bit of an incident down here, not too sure what could happen so it would be good if you were here and ready incase we need you." he said. "It's more of a personal thing to do with Joe than anything urgent."
"On my way," I replied, feeling a spark of curiosity. After everything that had happened recently, it was nice to be pulled in, even if they didn't really need me.
When I arrived at STAR Labs, I found Cisco deep in conversation about a grounding mechanism he was developing for the Weather Wizard. I leaned against the doorframe, watching him gesticulate animatedly as he explained the complexities of his project.
"Hey, mind if I help with that?" I offered, stepping in.
Cisco raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised. "You? With tech? Why not? We could use an extra set of hands."
I chuckled and moved closer, diving into the details of his design. It felt good to be useful again, even if it was just tinkering with gadgets while Joe received a phone call in the background. As I focused on the task, I couldn't shake the feeling that things were about to get interesting.

After finishing up with Cisco and the grounding mechanism, I felt a bit bored. With Barry tied up with the Weather Wizard case, I figured it was a good time to hit the streets. My name might not be out there yet, overshadowed by the Flash, but that didn't mean I couldn't do my part.
I took off, darting through the city, my feet barely touching the ground. I relished the thrill of the chase, the wind whipping past me as I zipped around corners and down alleyways. It wasn't long before I stumbled upon a couple of muggings in progress. I intervened quickly, my speed catching the criminals off guard.
my presence startled them enough to make them drop their loot and run. The grateful looks from the victims made it all worth it, even if I was just doing the small stuff.
After a while, I didn't find much else happening. I slowed down, my breath coming easier as I leaned against a wall, considering my next move. Just then, my phone buzzed in my pocket. It was Cecile.
"Hey, Matthew! I could use your help with a few cases," she said, her voice filled with that familiar determination.
"Sure, what do you need?" I replied, I was near my laptop by now so I could get the information she needed.
She briefed me on the documents and information she needed, and I set to work gathering everything I could find. I speed types on my laptop's keyboard collecting files and digital data, sending everything over to her as quickly as I could.
Once I wrapped up with Cecile, I made my way back to STAR Labs. I settled into a chair, waiting for the next call to action. The lab was quiet, the tension from earlier still hanging in the air, and I couldn't help but wonder what would happen next as there are changes here and there, not everything is shone or the same, plus I sort of know what is going on, but yeah.

After finishing up with the grounding mechanism, I felt pretty good about how it turned out. I mean, I'm no slouch when it comes to tech, so helping Cisco was a breeze. I headed into the cortex with him, ready to show what we were cooking up.
"Alright, everyone, check this out," Cisco said, his excitement contagious. He held up what he called the Weather Wand. "This bad boy is designed to draw in all the atmospheric energy. It'll basically neutralise the Weather Wizard's powers."
I then reiterated it so everyone gets a better idea"it's basically like a power vacuum for storms, so it should come in heady"
"Exactly!" Cisco grinned. "It sucks in the energy from the air, cutting him off from what he needs to control the weather. If we can get close enough, we might just turn the tide."
"Sounds like a solid plan," Barry replied, nodding. "Let's hope it works as well in action as it does on paper."
I leaned back, feeling a excited and chill, waiting to see how this would all unfold.
…
Well it's been a day and I've basically just stayed in star Labs the whole night, and I see Cisco go do something. "Yo, need any help with whatever you're doing?" He turns Around and looks at me before replying. "nah, i'm good, just going to check out something in the speed lab."
I just shrug, and I decide to go home cause I can't remember if anything important happens at this time, I mean I can search my memory's, but I know key points, we'll most of them, I didn't watch the whole thing, so I make my way home where I continue on working on how to integrate the cold gun into my suit.
I've been at this for a few hours now, and I think I've got this down, I've managed to properly integrate the cold gun into my suit, and now I can use it if necessary, after which I just go sit on my couch, scrolling through YouTube, cause I couldn't think of much to do, I could grind some of my skills but I'm good for now, I don't think any major events will happen anytime soon, so i decode to take a nap.
Soon I open my eyes and I find myself back at STAR Labs, "What th fuck, how did i get here?!" I was seriously spooked, like I just fell asleep, and now I'm back here 'I doubt someone would bring me here, and soon I see Cisco talking about the weather wand, and I'm confused once more.
"Wait, didn't we already do this yesterday?" I asked out loud and they all gave me a strange look except for Barry, and he looked relieved or even slightly surprised.
And as I was getting more confused, I realised I knew some new knowledge I didn't know before so I checked it out and I think I found the reason for this weirdness. [Temporal resistance Lv1] [temporal energy sense Lv1] and in a panic almost I check my phone and it confirms it, by The date. I look back up at Barry and ask. "what did you do?"
