Arrival

They finally arrived at the front of the office.

A wooden door with a sign on the middle says "President Office"

"There you are… Let's go Sanna. We've got something else to do."

Asahi walked away Takaya followed by Sanna, weaving her hand at him.

He knocks the door

"Enter!"

A woman voice shouting from the inside, he proceeds to enter the door.

"Nice to see you again, Takaya." The woman greets Takaya with soft gentle tone, while standing from the seat.

"Aunty Bella. It is a pleasure to see you to…"

"Come and sit my dear…"

He sat in front of her desk as she's reaching her pocket. She handed a badge to Takaya where it is similar to what Asahi, Sanna and Ai wears.

"Here you go… This is the irregular batch. This what separate you with the others."

"The others?"

"The students here are divided into two types. One is the regular that doesn't have any ability to use power as the irregular one. The irregulars are trained and tested to determine if there is any sign of modified human beings or they are uniquely born," Bella explained with ease about the information.

"Is this to prevent the Infiltration of other organizations?" Takaya asks.

"Well, you already know why'd you ask? After all you already did the missions from him, right? I read your reports and they are unbelievable for someone like you already taking a dangerous task…"

Takaya placing his batch on "I did not work for him. I work for my sister." Takaya said,

"You are brave as your father and stubborn as your mother… You're really making remembers Erisa…"

Bella suddenly reminiscing of her late elder sister. Though she keeps calm, not showing any sign of sadness for Takaya.

"Now, I believe you already know about the academy and it is actually meant to be, shall I hear your reason why are you suddenly changed your mind? Why now?"

The conversation started to getting serious between the two, in the other hand Takaya display perfect confidence,

"After I took a various mission from my sister, I discovers that X.A.G Rival company stared their move to taking over the rest Reincarnated Warriors. Which is I know military academy already acquired some of them."

"Which is I believe that this current situation is also a thread fois r me…"

Bella's eyes widen as she hears Takaya's word.

"You… Already understood you true nature… Are you?"

"Yes… And by that fact I also already knew that this academy also created based on that reason…"

Bella clenched her both hands, her eyebrows wrinkles,

"I never thought that you already know that far…"

"When my sister told me about this and see she reaction I'm still wasn't sure… And then I saw Asahi, Ai, and Sanna I was certain. This is going to be not so easy as I think it is…"

Takaya express his genuine concern,

"The worst part is, all of this directed me into one conclusion…"

"I spend 5 years to avoiding all of this but things always came to me, even after I know that I have 'this' power, It turns out someone is actually behind of that…"

Takaya eyes gazed at a photo hanging on the wall, an old man photo.

"So, you're already know what happen that day… I'm truly sorry… I should be the one who telling you the truth…"

Bella apologized, her eyes filled with regret.

Takaya look back to Bella with a smile, changing the mood of the atmosphere,

"You don't need to apologize… I'm the one who running away after my parents died… I should be the one who seeks the truth."

"But now since I already know that, I wish I can take some responsibility…"

"It is not your responsibility, Takaya…"

Takaya still smiled, though his eyes show sadness.

"So, what you're going to do now?"

"I'll dig the truth from person himself."

That word makes Bella even more nervous.

"Then… Do what you must…"

"But before you taking the next step, I want you to do something for me… This is not a request as the Academy President, but as family…"

Takaya roams around the academy, surprised how the academy was changing since his last visit… He unexpectedly finds the researcher room which he enters.

The room well arranged. Filled with pleasant smell of rose, he observes the room until he looks to the other side of the room seeing Ai sitting in front of her laptop.

"Mind to knock next time while you are entering my room."

A familiar person said.

"Ohh… Ai… I'm sorry."

"No problem new guy… How's a going with Mrs. Bella?"

"Nothing much… Just a short talking about the academy stuff…"

"Pffttt… Don't lie to me, Takaya… I know everything you talked about with her."

Takaya seemed calmed. He walks around the room admires it. While Ai keeps looking at him in strange way.

"What's up Asahi?"

Ai chuckled,

"Ah… Takaya… You're really missing the time…"

"What do you mean?" He looked at Ai that already heading to the door,

"It easier if you see it by yourself…"

She leaves the room, hanging the question.

"Of course… You never talk about the complicated stuff…"

30 minutes later, X.A.G Academy Hall

There are 6 people lining up with Takaya facing the big stage. 3 familiar people up on the stage which is Asahi, Ai and Azusa.

The air is official, all people dressed in special military clothing. At the far side of the stage behind the curtain there a young mature with a long red-haired girl standing facing the 6 people down off the stage,

"Takaya…" She muttered,

"Lania… Will you just line up beside my daughter? You are going stealing my spotlight, you know?" A woman attires a black formal military suit appeared behind her,

"Ah, if it's not the headmaster herself, Mrs. Bella Fukasawa… How's your day?" The girl jestingly greets the woman,

"The boy wonder, and the girl who is related to the traitor."

"Ah there's a message from the General. She thinks it's time officialy announce the traitor."

Bella shows an uncertain look "That it really harsh…" -Chuckled hide her worries, "I never thought that I'm the one who will announce it…"

"That is what she said…"

Bella walks to the middle of the stage, revealing her penetrating eyes making everyone's impression on her change,

"Greetings the irregular students. This is the first time you all meeting me officially in this form. My name is Bella Fukasawa, I'm the academy Headmaster."

"You might ask yourself why the sudden call, more importantly only the 9 of you have been called. I have an announcement to tell. Some of you already know about this academy and some of you have not."

"You may see 3 students here on top of the stage. Asahi Fukasawa, Ai Minase, Azusa Azaki. The 3 of them are the reincarnated warriors at this current time."

All of people including Takaya is shocked that Bella herself reveals their identity.

"And you, starts from my left side, Annabelle, Saega Onami, Sagara Sarasaki, Sagiri Sarasaki, Sanna Meguma, Takaya Takahashi and Fukushima Minase, you all may have the possibility to be one of the reincarnated warriors as well."

Bella flashes a smile to her left, Signaling the calls the girl that is standing beside the stage. She goes beside Bella with winged like capes, beautiful body armor. She stance placing her hands at her hips displayed a tough gesture,

"I'll introduce to you, Lieutenant Lania. She's the second commanding officer for the X.A.G Elite Team, although she is not a reincarnated warrior, she proven equal to the first commander, Vanny Takahashi, as the commander herself are indeed the reincarnated warrior." Takaya shows a disgusted face after the name of the commander are mentioned even with her greatest secret.

All people glanced at Takaya after the name 'Takahashi' is spoken,

"Takaya… Calm yourself."

Takaya look at his left only to see Fukushima's furious expression. Acknowledge he was also dismayed announcement.

"You might ask why the sudden change to Elite Team's personnel due to… The Second Commander, Kanna Meguma has proven her disloyalty."

Hearing the unexpected information, all the students are disbelieved. Especially Sanna. The most respected and loved personnel of X.A.G now plated as a criminal.

"Now brings me to the second announcement, Apparently Kanna Meguma are working with X.A.G rival organization, S.I.N. They also trying to capturing the the current ancient warrior."

"We do not know what their goals are… All of you may be have been targeted. But for sake of your safety, I limit all the activity of the Irregular students."

"Therefore, any type of activity including missions now will have to be approved by the academy directors. Any training now will be under Lieutenant Lania supervision. And hopefully you will obtain a valuable lesson from her as well."

The rest of the student now feel indifferent by the abrupt news. On the other hand, Sanna seems impacted by her sister betrayal being spoken in front of people.

"Lieutenant, do you have something to say?" Bella said,

Lania clears her throat

"Umm…" -She shows panicky expression- "I… This is might feel weird for you for me to saying this… But, Despite Master Kanna sudden betrayal she is the most respected person in my honest opinion."

 "I learned so much from her up until this day I carries her lessons. Even she is now not one of us, she will be forever be our teacher and friend… Even though I currently on her position, that doesn't mean I may have her respect. I'm still far from her perfection…"

 Lania bows at the students,

"So, please… In behalf of her legacy, I beg your support…"

Everyone sees Lania as an amateur even though she was indeed more experience. But they acknowledge her by her honesty.

Lania gazed at Bella signaling her was done with her words. "As for today, all student now stand-by on the academy… All of you can leave, Except Sanna Meguma."

Everyone suddenly looked at her, that already sobbing with tears. Lania quickly jumps to her and grabs her both hands, "I'm sorry…" She spoke.

Several hours later ~

Sanna walk out from Bella's office, She leaned on the wall beside of the door wiping off her tears.

"How's the interrogation going?" A playful voice greets her.

"It's none of your-" -gazed at the voice coming from she saw a familiar face- "Asahi…"

"That is my business as your captain…" She grabs Sanna's hand and walk away,

"Wha-"

"Just come…" Asahi said.

Sanna know that Asahi worried about her, she goes along with her friend walked together to the academy roof top.

Sanna sits on the bench while Asahi sits on the concrete bench behind her. Both enjoys the fresh air blows to their skins.

"So, what actually happened?"

"Lieutenant, asking me so many questions. She asks if I already know about the situation."

She clenched her fists showing disappointment,

"You… Already know about it, are you?" She gazed at Asahi,

"Well, I can't just break the news to you like 'Hey your sister betrays us!' How can I…" She looked away avoiding Sanna's eyes,

"I wonder where is my sister been… It's been half year since she's home… We did talk… But ends up with a fight." Sanna said,

"Sister's quarrel eh…"

"You know, one day Belania and I fought once after knowing I'm not really her biological sister." Asahi said.

"What? Really? I never heard about that…"

"He he he… You receive one of my secret my dear Sanna… I never knew my real parents neither if they are still around or not… But all I know that I was saved by Bella, I suppose because of my power that makes me valuable…"

"There's no way Mrs. Bella would take you just because of your power…" Sanna said,

"That is the same thing that Belania said to me. That is what brings us to a big fight… But Bella immediately stops us and honestly tells me that I dying… Despite my power, she actually had me because her doctor said that she would never have a child of her own…"

Sanna feels miserable to now about Asahi's past,

"But we're okay now, that fight ending up with ice cream… Belania and I reconcile and strengthen our sisterly bond even more…" Asahi said,

Sanna sighed, relived by the ending of her story, "But do the others know about your…" Sanna ask

"Ai, Fukushima and Takaya also know about it… So, keep it a secret, okay? I don't want to break my mom's reputation…" Asahi said.

"I see…" Sanna nodded. As she understood that thinking about a problem too deeply will bring no end to the problem itself. The more she thinks of it, the more she will be drowned inside the endless hole of darkness.

Esteemed by Asahi's kindled personality, she feels awful for herself. Asahi is known for her clumsy, goofy attitude but deep inside she is suffering from something that not many people have especially on her age that only 3 years above Sanna,

"Sanna…" Asahi sits beside her, take hold of her hands, "It's okay to let it out your sadness for once… I'll hear you… So, don't you feel you are alone in this cruel world, 'kay?" Asahi smiled at her showing her deepest concern for Sanna.

Once again, a drop of tear spills out from her eye, but she quickly erases it with her hands, "Thank you Asahi… But I cannot let you to destroy my face even further…"

"Eh…"

"I've been thinking about it… You really are like to see me cry, aren't you?" Sanna playfully said,

"You… dummy." She flicked her finger on Sanna's forehead, smiling at her as an appreciation that she willingly to grab herself together.
