"How far are we?" Orson asked grimly as he unmounted the horse at the resting stop.

Shadow looked at his master, who seemed fatigued and responded, "We have a day remaining."

Orson heaved a sigh of relief and massaged his aching temples.

It has been hard on all of them. In order to get to that city as soon as possible and inquire about the suspicions, they barely rested on the road. Knowing that they would be arriving in a day, he was at ease and worried as well.

If he finds that the guesses are indeed true, he doesn't know how he will face Calista. However, he needed to know what was going on. Only then could he know how to move forward, but he sincerely hoped that wouldn't be the case.

He hoped that Calista just looked similar to the person Shadow saw over a decade ago, but there still remained a 'what if' in his mind and it was driving him crazy.
