"Mina! Hurry!" Nana shouted desperately.
"I can't hold for much longer! 15 seconds!"
It was clear from Juno's voice that he really meant it.
Think, Mina, think…
"15, 14, 13…"
"Mina we are gonna get wiped!", Nana was at her wits end too.
But to be very honest, I still didn't understand much about how all this worked.
Watching Juno get surrounded and attacked by five elite-level trolls though, I knew it was down to me to be the heroine and save my party.
"Fireball! Water splash! Fireball! Water splash!"
I started spamming two quick-fire spells I had set up.
"What the hell? You are putting them on fire and saving them with water again?!"
Kris, Nana's brother, shouted while he was already lying motionless on the ground.
He was our Priest, but we got ambushed and he happened to die first.
Nana, the rogue, had an emergency electric jumper that had a chance to bring him back alive, but it could not be used during combat.
If we don't defeat trolls now and get wiped, our entire Saturday afternoon investment will go to waste.
"Acid! Mina, You need to use acid! Trolls won't die otherwise! Shit, 10, 9, 8"
"A seed?"
"Yes, acid! 6, 5-"
But I did not have any spell called a seed.
I had a quick look at my inventory and finally, I got what he meant.
"I got it! I just throw it?!"
"4, 3, yes! Fire it away!"
"Kyaaaaaaa!"
With a mighty scream, I quickly loaded the seed in my quick ballistic launcher and shot it toward the trolls.

"What the hell?!!!"
All three of my party members, and dear friends, shouted at me.
Why…? Didn't I just save the day?

"Holy shit!" Nana, exclaimed.
"Did… I do anything wrong? The trolls have stopped attacking Juno now, right? They are standing still now right?"

Later that day in the town's tavern
Local adventurers were gathering, organizing their inventory, buying healing portions for the next day, etc.
"Did you guys hear that Troll Lord has appeared?"
"Yeah, it's a legendary monster, the global first right on our server!"
"That's pretty cool. But who would do that?"
"Sorry for being a noob, lol. But what's up with all this?"
"You ever heard of Seed of Life?"
"What is it?"
"It's an item that unlocks the full legendary boss fight in the highest level raid we got now. The boss mob starts very weak at level 20, so you get shit drops if you kill him like that. What you do is you get someone to aggro the bunch of small mobs from the next room and bring them over, hit the boss mob with Seed of Life and he will consume the small mobs and evolve up to Level 100"
"Level 100?! For real?"
"Yeah, that's the level cap at the moment. If you defeat him at that state you get a legendary item drop. That's what all the big raid guilds are going for these days. It's a race to get the global first legendary item. But you need like 40 men raid to even have a chance of making it. And before you can even attempt that, you need to find a Seed of Life. It's a world random spawn so extremely hard to get"

"But the rumor has it that the new Troll Lord's level is way beyond that"
"How can it be higher than the level cap?"
"I think someone found a loophole"
"But can we even handle that monster now?"
"Probably not. The Evil Kingdom guild was preparing for a 40 men raid at the entrance to a dungeon and the Troll Lord appeared and just stomped them to death"
"Holy shit!"
"But who would do that? Use such a rare item to feed a field mob troll…? WTF?"
"We got trolled by a legendary troll, lol"
"Lol, trolling with a troll, that's so meta"

Nana was pretty mad for a few minutes after what happened earlier, but she has calmed down and has been comforting me over the voice chat. But seeing the local chat at the tavern just made me realize how big a mistake I have made.
"Nana… should I just quit the game…?"
"No way-. If you quit, I quit"
"Why…? I always mess up…"
"Don't worry, Mina. Me and Nana made tons of mistakes too when we were new to the game", Juno was being so nice too, as usual.
"Well, at least we did something that no one else in the world has done before. That's pretty cool, eh?"
Kris went back to his usual cheerful character too.
"Thank you guys…"
