The underworld.
After countless ages, the underworld remained in a dull, grey state.
Between heaven and earth, it seemed there were only black and white, with no other colors present.
This was not a place where the living could enter.
To enter here, one could only do so after death, in the form of a soul.
The bleak, dim grey sun hung in the sky, its faint light casting the underworld into deeper darkness.
However, if someone could stand at a high place and overlook the entire underworld, they would discover that amidst the bleak darkness, on the earth below, there were many shimmering lights of various colors, radiating with vivid hues.
These lights were the reflection of human fortune in the underworld.
Among these flickering lights, the brightest and most dazzling spot was the Dragon Field of the Zhou Dynasty.
Here was where the descendants of the Zhou Dynasty's royal family, as well as scholars and generals, resided.
