"Yeah, we have to atone, and a humungous pest to rid off.", Samuel (Kalpas) patted Fir'Zed's back to reassure, he then ripped apart leftovers, molded hard carcasses, and genuinely prepared a meal within 24 seconds, manipulating the heat by a finesse manner unlike the destruction he often bring forth.
Leaping across the ruins of the wrecked gigantic fleet, insectoids after another, Samuel tied Fir'Zed, holding the chain end of a morning-star's blunt. The old man adapted more to the cruel massacre against these endless bugs, and were able to prove his prowess armed with the molded bugs' own limbs.
"I'm surprised you can keep up your pace, so how are you petty, back there?", Samuel asked.
"Those damned bugs", *hack!", "you trashed are elites Sir Samuel". *slash*, "although the Swarm are clustered in groups", *Boom!*, "and are just beasts with loose instincts to sweep everything into ruins", *REeeeEE!*, "they are deceptive.", *sighs*, "Their regeneration is one thing, but they have more fodders that can grow at the forefront while Elites are positioned on the sidelines, they ARE HORRIBLE, and are WORST than VILE GOBLINS! Some can mimic and took over a corpse, and grew intelligence, we barely have any to trust...",
Samuel (Kalpas): "Ah, maybe I should have just burnt you back then",
Fir'Zed: "I'm grateful for this opportunity either way Sir. Her Majesty Titania built a magnificent fleet vowing to bring forth our Empire's benevolence to the barbarians. However this expedition was halted by the Swarm."
Samuel(Kalpas): *Crash!* "So they are like Honkai, they adapt to degenerate a civilization"
Fir'Zed: "We lost many communication lines, there's bizarre cluster of flying leeches, we're also aware of the self destructive bugs and exploited that, but they breed and grow faster than we can sweep them, before Unique Bugs sabotage pretending to be someone we used to know. Many lost their own wings, as those damned bugs ruled our sky. We developed variety of Armors, but the bugs adapted to an extent to feast what remains of our steels; they no longer flinch against us. I'm sincerely impressed how durable and strong you are Sir Samuel, why have we not heard of you but now--",
Samuel (Kalpas): "Yea-yeah, wake up coward, we have to atone for living on this mess. Surely you know better than our yapping General the ins and outs of this place."
A masked lurking figure revealed itself, "Oh please, I'm no warriors as the two of you are."
*Crash!*
"And you're cozying enough?", Samuel no Kalpas' cold tone spreads as dust settles.
"Am I not allowed to enjoy my booze in this hell scape?", the Masked figure retorts in a condescending tone, as he dodged with a speed on par with Kalpas' increasing chase,
"Evan!" Fir'Zed blocked,
"Oh, I don't remember you being this strong, commander, so you're lucky to chew those bugs too?", Evan finally received a fist that dislocated his arms as he was thrown to crash on a Swarm Bug flying around to which Evan transformed and consumed, growing limbs again.
"Hahahaha! Ah, that HURTS, Are you any different to this so poor me?!"
Another onslaught began as more BUGS gather, Fir'Zed isn't as brute as Kalpas but he is an adept with sword, regaining vitality and more prowess from the Swarm bugs thoroughly cooked enough to be digested.
Evan might have been desperately lucky on splattered blood, one diluted enough from the BUGS, but now he is a lost cause. His current form were akin to a lean humanoid Beetle without a horn, four arms, and an ability to manipulate blood into constructs.
Kalpas had began to wield the heat and nearby space rocks to spawn meteors, and ruthlessly ripped apart and hurl around fearless winged giant bugs after another, but Evan itself laughs maniacally as constructed imitations as an owned legion, while following up attacks of crimson webs, and spears. Kalpas himself used to laugh around that madly in carnage, but oddly he feels very calm.
His form had shifted to a Crimson Fiend, he molded and woven some carcasses with burning threads of intense finesse as he endured some Bugs spontaneously self destructing against him after another while he let loose to deliver blows of serious punches, and swings of Molten Pillars he constructed.
Evan's command on undead portions of the Swarm had become more tricky to also dodge the air pressure, preserving resources on this ongoing attrition. It had also relayed message about a threat to the hive but it was sniped.
Kalpas: ("Ah, if I exerted more pressure, there would be nothing to stand on, and there would be no survivors.") The rising heat doesn't stop either way.
Fir'Zed clad in armor made by his unarmed savior, fended himself tenaciously, improving his swordsmanship, while he also wielded a chained-morning-star. He resisted the heat, intercepted and exchanged some blows directly with Evan, then retreated far away, as he finally noticed some other survivors still resisting portion of the Swarm.
Evan felt a pull growing over time as he began to resist desperately, it no longer exclaims tangible words but just screech, following up tendrils of poisonous blood that dissipated.
Kalpas: "Soon, you'll end to be less than a dust"
From beyond the horizon, Crimson Sea of Bugs was being consumed by a Blaze of the Stellar Sky and Falling Stars. It was being stalked from afar by the remaining COMS. Her Majesty is aware, these pests are still restless after all, so were an Emanator of the Swarm responsible to this voyage.
