Knowing The Answer

"Hah, hah, hah,"

Deep breathing resonated in the four corners of Red's apartment as he and Solar both looked into each other's eyes.

Tiredness could be heard in their voice as they repeatedly breathe in and out.

Somehow, the two of them ended up together in Red's apartment.

"How come you run so fast?" Solar complained out loud as she threw herself on the floor, lying down. She was dead tired.

Soft laughter escaped Red's lips. "I don't run fast. You're just slow," he answered with a hint of teasing in his voice.

"You bitch," Solar's eyes narrowed, glaring at Red, who started laughing at her. Rolling her eyes, she raised her right hand in the air, showing off her middle finger.

Tilting his head to the side, Red carefully sat on the floor, still laughing. He removed his slippers, letting his bare feet touch the cold tiles.
