Collision of intentions

Just like the calm before a storm, Eve thought about the tutor, the kind of person he was. This other side of him was very strange to her, but one thing she noticed was that, while he was killing those people, he didn't hold back at all.

As they walked below the mountain that surrounded the place, Eve looked at the tutor again and thought to herself;

"What kind of person are you? Did you disguise yourself as a tutor all along? But why? Then, was I deceived too?"

Eve wondered if the king knew about his intentions and kept him, or if he was unaware. Then, was Callum unaware too? Also, Jomei didn't say anything strange about him except the fact that they were related in a way because his uncle took him in, not as a son, but as a friend, even though he took care of him. Did he manage to deceive everyone then?
