Mysterious

Two young women were now walking around the corner of the city, accompanied by a maid behind them. They had just visited the Loren family's shop, not too much but it was quite tiring for both of them.

"Didn't your mother scold you for always going out with me?" Riana asked, actually Riana felt bad for Vilda who visited her every day, even though she only visited her residence twice.

Vilda shook her head. "My mother won't scold me, actually I'm running away from her." Vilda replied.

"You ran away? What happened to you?" Riana asked.

"It's nothing, just a normal thing." Vilda replied.

Riana stared at the bright blue beads with curiosity. "What's normal, I don't know."

Vilda took a deep breath for a moment, "Okay, this is a matter of..." before she could finish her sentence, Vilda hurriedly looked back.

"Asha, can you leave us alone, just for a moment." Vilda said to her maid who faithfully followed her behind.

Asha nodded, she immediately left.

"Is this very secret?" Riana asked.

Vilda shook her head. "I feel bad talking about marriage in front of her, she's not married yet. People call her a spinster."

Riana nodded in understanding.

"You know, since Victor wasn't home, my mother always tried to match me with a man I didn't know at all." Vilda said, her expression changed to annoyance.

"I really can't stand my mother, so I better go to your house." Vilda continued.

Riana was silent, she just realized that they were no longer teenagers, how could she forget that?

"After this, you can't avoid learning about marriage. Because my mother will teach you." Vilda said.

Riana was wide-eyed. "Why your mother?"

"I still don't understand about that, besides if you were there, I'm sure my mother wouldn't be as annoying as usual."

"Okay." Riana said resignedly, if it concerns Viscountess Varhadt, she can't deny it.

"Is there a man you like?" Vilda asked.

Riana shook her head. "I don't know."

"Do you want to be with Victor? But I don't recommend it, he's very annoying." Vilda said.

"How's Victor? I haven't seen him in a long time." Victor is Vilda's twin, they used to be very similar, the only difference was their hair and the way they dressed. Even though they were twins, Riana rarely saw Vilda and Victor together.

"He's annoying." From her expression, it was clear that Vilda was annoyed with her twin. "I forgot to tell you this, do you know Count Montena's daughter?" She continued suddenly.

Riana shook her head.

"Okay, I'll tell you. Count Montena's daughter is known as a very beautiful woman, her skin is clear white, her eyes are bright red, her silver hair is very soft if you touch it, if I were a man I might fall in love with her." Vilda said.

Vilda took a deep breath before continuing her words. "But, if only her nature wasn't annoying I would definitely want to be near her."

Vilda remembered the incident the other day, when she suddenly received an invitation to a tea party at Count Montena's residence. The Montena family only had one daughter, she was known for her very beautiful face, even Duke Walterz intended to match his eldest son with her (Count Montena's daughter). In addition, Count Montena's daughter was also known to be smart and very good at socializing. Getting an invitation to a tea party from her was a fortune for Vilda, she had secretly idolized Count Montena's daughter since she was in school, because Count Montena's daughter was known to be very smart and beautiful.

"Is Count Montena's daughter Lady Bella?" Riana asked trying to remember the physical characteristics that Vilda had mentioned.

Vilda nodded happily. "Yes, you're right, the very smart Lady Bella Montena."

"So what did she do that upset you?"

"It wasn't entirely because of her, after the tea party was over I said goodbye and went home, I was very happy but all that was broken with one sentence. Lady Bella said to me like this, 'it seems you are more polite than your brother'. You know I was very surprised to hear that, what did Victor actually do?" Vilda told Riana everything, she was a little worried that Lady Bella Montena would no longer invite her to the tea party.

"So you're upset because you're worried that you can't be close to Lady Bella because of Victor?" Riana tried to guess.

Vilda nodded. "Damn you, Victor!" She cursed herself, really annoyed with her twin.

"Why don't you ask Victor?"

"If he was there, I would have asked him."

"Then where is Victor?"

"He's undergoing training as a soldier."

"Does Victor want to be a knight?" Riana asked.

"I don't know." Vilda answered.

Suddenly Ivander's image crossed her mind, how is he?

The Royal Knights Headquarters was now bustling with the Western, Eastern and Southern Knights, they were holding a meeting to discuss the movement of treason. Although there were no more suspicious signs, they still had to remain vigilant.

"They have been defeated, I am sure there will be no more infiltrators." Said one of the four large men, he was the Leader of the Southern Troops, Ronan Pallazo.

"I have searched my territory, there is no treason there." Said Eryon Mason, Leader of the Eastern Troops.

Ivander stared closely at the man who was older than him, how could he say that there was no treason in his territory, when he had just finished off those bastards yesterday.

"You don't need to worry Commander, my territory is always safe, there has never been any bloodshed there." Said Ivander, no enemy had managed to enter the territory he guarded, even a Duke submitted to him.

"Thank you for all your hard work, I will give you a day off." Said the Commander of the Royal Knights, Fredi Ogard.

The meeting ended, the knights were sent back to their territory. Ivander came accompanied by Harvis, Galar & Jack, they had arrived earlier than the other knights, they had their own secret meeting with Commander Ogard.

"Can we really go on holiday?" Jack asked.

"Do you want to go on holiday with your family?" This time it wasn't an answer that Jack got but a question from Galar.

"I'll take my wife go for a walk, you old man definitely can't enjoy that." Jack mocked.

"Hey! You should thank me, thanks to me your wife isn't mad anymore!"

"My wife can't be mad at me, she loves me very much."

"You jerk! Watch out you beg me again!"

"I'll leave tomorrow." Harvis said making the two men who were mocking each other fall silent.

"Where do you want to go?" Jack asked.

"Looks like I have to go home." Harvis replied.

"You should also take a day off, don't you miss your woman?" Now Galar patted Ivander's shoulder, reminding him of Riana.

Ivander just muttered softly, it seemed like he was starting to miss Riana.

"I don't know where you're from, so where do you want to go home?" Galar asked Harvis.

The question made Jack and Ivander turn to Harvis, they seemed curious too.

"Not far from here." Harvis lied.

"So you live not far from here?" Jack asked.

Harvis nodded. "I'll part with you guys, go home safely." Harvis said.

"Be careful. If you're bored, you can come back early." Ivander said.

Harvis nodded in understanding. "See you." Harvis said goodbye and immediately rushed away leaving Ivander, Jack and Galar.

Harvis took big steps, he had to immediately avoid his friends. After he felt safe he breathed a sigh of relief, the escape seven years ago turned out to mean nothing, he was really disappointed and angry.

"So you became a knight."

Harvis turned his head, he knew who the owner of the voice was, the Leader of the Eastern Army, Eryon Mason.

"Excuse me, do you know me?"

"Count George's only son, Harvis George. Left home when he was seventeen, everyone thought you were dead because there was no news of you. Tch! It turns out I found you." Eryon said arrogantly.

"Wasn't it your army that thwarted my plan? You must be afraid if they find out who is behind all this." He continued—Eryon sarcastically.

Harvis clenched his fists tightly, he was really annoyed.

"It seems you don't intend to be my ally, do you want to be my opponent?" A mocking gaze was clearly visible on the face of the middle-aged man, Eryon Mason.

"I don't know anything, so get out of my sight!" Harvis shouted firmly.

"Arrogant young man, your leader is the same!" Eryon mocked.

"Are you as great as him?" That question was a taunt that Harvis threw.

"Tch, he won't even be able to fight me for more than a minute."

"Yes, you're right, because in thirty seconds you'll be dead in his hands." Harvis insulted him soundly, now he had walked away, no need to waste his time on trash like that.

Although he didn't respond to Eryon's words properly, his mind kept imagining things he hated the most, especially his father's face. Damn! He really is crazy apparently.
