First Card (Part 2)

Ray could feel a strange space suddenly open up in his mind. It was like discovering a secret compartment he never knew existed. What's more, he could access it instantly, as if it was always meant to be there.

Curious, he focused on it—and just like that, his surroundings changed completely. He found himself standing in an otherworldly space. A thick white mist surrounded him, hiding everything beyond a 100-meter radius, where the ground glowed faintly with a bluish light. It was surreal, but also kind of awesome.

In the middle of it all, something caught his attention—a silver card floating right in front of him. That had to be the star of the show, right?

Ray reached out, and as soon as his fingers brushed the card, it lit up and merged into his body. A glowing screen popped up before him.

[Do you want to start the creation of your First Card? Y/N]

"No way I'm saying no to this!" he said, grinning, and immediately selected Yes.

The screen flickered and transformed into a series of questions. Normally, something like this would've driven Ray nuts—so many questions, ugh! But here? Nah. This wasn't like his old world. This was too exciting to complain about. For once, he was super focused.

[Select the type of card (Note: You can select at most two types at once, with one as the main type and the other as secondary)

Beast Type

Elemental Type

Mechanical Type

Item Type

Mystic Type]

The options were pretty self-explanatory: Beast for creatures, Elemental for powers like fire or water, and Mechanical for all that techy mecha stuff. Item Type? That was more like legendary gear from games or anime—think Zanpakuto from Bleach. And Mystic? Well, that was basically the wildcard. Anything that didn't fit neatly into a box got shoved into Mystic, like Paramecia Devil Fruits from One Piece. Do whatever crazy stuff you want? Mystic's got your back.

But none of that mattered. Ray already knew what he wanted.

"Select Beast Type as the main type, and Elemental as secondary," he said confidently.

Ray tilted his head, thinking. Could he mix subcategories, like blending traits? He decided to ask.

"Can I pick percentages for subcategories? Like, one for the appearance and others for the traits?"

[...Yes, but if the background story doesn't support these specifics, the card creation might fail.]

"Ah, that's fine!" Ray said, smirking. "For Beast Type, go with:

Humanoid appearance

Human: 30%; Dragon: 40%; Demon: 40%

And for Elemental Type:

Fire: 70%; Dark: 20%; Other elements: 10%."

Ray grinned like a kid opening a loot box. "Alright, time to bring this bad boy to life." He got to work, carefully filling out the details. No rushing—this was too important. Half an hour later, he was done. The status window updated.

[Name of the card: Natsu Dragneel]

[Type: Beast (Main), Elemental (Secondary)]

[Species: Human/Dragon/Demon]

[Attributes: Fire; Dark (Hidden)]

Background Story (Initial):

In another world, a happy family lived peacefully—parents and their two children, Zeref Dragneel and Natsu Dragneel. But one fateful day, when Zeref returned from a nearby village, he found their home destroyed and his family gone. The culprits? A battle between passing dragons.

Zeref was devastated, falling into deep depression. Eventually, he found hope in magic and was admitted to a prestigious academy. He believed that with magic, he could revive his family. But before he succeeded, his research was discovered, and he was expelled.

Undeterred, Zeref secretly completed his project and attempted to resurrect his brother. Everything was going well—until a black thunderbolt struck them both. It was Ankhseram, the God of Life and Death, punishing Zeref for defying the natural order.

Zeref was cursed with immortality and the inability to love without causing destruction. Natsu, on the other hand, was brought back as a half-demon. To protect natsu from becoming complete demon and go crazy, Zeref entrusted Natsu to his good friend Igneel, the Fire Dragon King, who raised natsu as son and trained him in Dragon Slayer magic to balance his demonic side.

Natsu grew up with no memory of his past, raised lovingly by Igneel. Under his guidance, Natsu not only mastered Fire Dragon Slayer Magic but also developed a unique technique—Demonic Dark Fire Dragon Slayer Magic.

At the age of 12, Natsu woke up in an unfamiliar forest. Igneel was gone. During his search, he stumbled upon Fairy Tail's guild master, Makarov, who welcomed him into their family. And while Natsu found a new home, his search for Igneel never stopped.]
