Arrest Her

I sat beside the queen in a quiet room, trying to offer any comfort I could. She clung to her grief, her sobs shaking her entire frame. My heart broke for her, but I felt so helpless.

"Your Majesty, please, you need to be strong," I said softly, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure this is all a mistake. We'll find out what happened. Please, just hold on."

The queen looked up at me, her eyes red and swollen. "How can this be a mistake, Elena? My husband is gone! What will I do without him?" she cried, her voice breaking.

"I don't know, but we will find out who did this, Your Majesty. I promise you, we will get justice."

Just as I was trying to offer these hollow reassurances, the door to the room burst open. Antonia strode in, flanked by guards. Her expression was one of smug satisfaction.

"There she is! Arrest that murderer!" she commanded, her voice dripping with venom.
