Episode Forty-One: Gaining Mastery
Under the watchful guidance of the wise old sage, Ren, Sakayanagi, and Shigan embarked on their first day of training, eager to put their newfound skills to the test. However, despite their determination, they quickly realized that mastering their abilities would not be as easy as they had hoped.
As they sparred with one another, their movements clumsy and uncoordinated, they struggled to control the power that surged within them. Their attacks lacked precision, their defenses weak and faltering.
Seeing their frustration, the old sage intervened, offering them a new challenge to help hone their skills—a series of battles against low-class beasts that roamed the outskirts of the City of Light.
With a sense of determination burning in their hearts, Ren, Sakayanagi, and Shigan accepted the challenge, ready to prove themselves in combat once more.
Their first opponents were a group of goblins, their grotesque forms leaping out from the shadows with savage ferocity. With a shout, Ren unleashed his new move, "Rise," channeling the power of the shadows to summon forth spectral warriors to do battle on his behalf.
Sakayanagi, her blue flames burning brightly, danced through the battlefield with grace and precision, her new moves earning her the nickname "Blue Phoenix" as she unleashed torrents of fire upon their foes.
And Shigan, drawing upon the life force of the goblins themselves, unleashed a barrage of ki energy that left their enemies reeling, his new moves earning him the moniker "Ki Conduit" as he tapped into the raw power of the universe itself.
As the battle raged on, Ren, Sakayanagi, and Shigan fought with a newfound sense of purpose and determination, their movements fluid and controlled as they dispatched their enemies with ease.
