Docile. Agreeable. Compliant. (1/4) || Reyin

Of all the freshly hung garments in my closet, I settled with something closest to my doctor's style. A beige cotton vest over a white shirt and an equally bright sash around my waist, allowing the vest to ruffle slightly and flare out at the ends. My pants were cream-colored and loose for comfort, and I cared not that my family might mock me for wearing a color pallet deemed only for our servants.

I felt most comfortable and content when I imitated the doctor I aspired to be like.

Yesterday had been uneventful after my short bath. I'd only slept and ate my meals in my room, too exhausted for any desire to meet my family. I'd woken this bright and sunny morning to a butler at my bedside, holding warm vanilla tea for me to drink, which I had before getting ready.
