Sleepover I: Such a good day to stretch

The breakfast was one the best Wyatt had, mostly because he could share it with people he cared about. He looked at his friends as he ate silently, a smile slowly drawing on his face. When they were done, Lauren and Wyatt cleaned the table and the dishes. Matthew sat on the couch and scrolled on his phone. When the duo was done, Lauren exclaimed loudly.

Lauren: "Okay bitches, let's do this"

Wyatt: "what?"

Lauren: "Bro...are you that slow?"

Matthew: "she is talking about the yoga session"

Matthew said not really lifting his head from his screen. He was leaning back and had quite a good looking sitting pose. Lauren looked at him and said.

Lauren: "you didn't have to tell him, he would have stayed in. Such a dumb bitch I swear"

Wyatt: "Shut your throat"

Lauren rolled her eyes. As she walked upstairs for few minutes before coming back dressed with black leggings and a white crop top showing off her flat belly, abs almost drawing. Wyatt crossed his arms and tilted his head with a smirk.

Wyatt: "Dang bitch, you got not belly fat"

Lauren: "you bet I don't"

Matthew turned his head behind the couch to see Lauren and chuckled.

Matthew: "Quite the look. Woke up like that?"

Lauren: "oh please, your flattery won't get you anywhere gator"

Wyatt rolled his eyes and Matthew just got up and walked to her before looming then looked down at her while tilting slightly his head. His presence was almost overwhelming. His wide features were dwarfing the female coyote who had none of it.

Matthew: "oh is that so?"

Lauren: "what are you trying to do? You think you can impress me with your muscles"

Matthew: "wasn't trying to"

Lauren: "Yeah sure. What's with the whole proximity then?"

Matthew: "oh that, well I..."

Before she could react he had put his hand on the wall behind her and lower a bit to her. She looked up and was stunned.

Matthew: "hm that's what I thought"

Lauren: "what?"

Matthew: "you..."

Lauren: "I"

He got closer to her face as she kept looking at his mesmerizing eyes. Wyatt was widening his own and he felt his heart beating faster.

Matthew: "are..."

Matthew's face was mere inches from Lauren's and he put his other hand's finger under her chin as he looked at her with intent. She bit her lower lip and was feeling hot all of a sudden.

Matthew: "Short"

Matthew grinned and got back with a laughter that echoed loudly in the room, Lauren frowned as she punched his chest.

Lauren: "you are terribly stupid I hope you know that. I hate you. Tspppp"

She crossed her arms and looked away. Wyatt took a breath as he realized he had stopped breathing all the while. And Matthew kept laughing before saying.

Matthew: "So easy to tease"

Lauren: "one day Karma will come for you"

Matthew: "I will wait for it don't worry"

Lauren: "What a bitch! Anyway, go wear something to do some workout outside."

Wyatt: "weren't we supposed to do yoga?"

Lauren: "I doubt you want to sweat in your pajamas doing yoga outside, do you?"

Wyatt: "Fair enough"

Lauren: "I swear sometimes"

Wyatt: "Not my fault you use words out of their normal context"

Lauren: "Bro don't try me on Semantics"

Wyatt: "ha ha, need anything for the session? Like mats?"

Lauren: "would be lovely yes. And perhaps some small towels and water bottles oh and do you have a speaker, I have some good music for that"

Wyatt: "well I got the mats and the towels. Water bottles are in the fridge and as for the speaker well I don't have one"

Matthew: "I do"

Lauren: "Good. Now be fast I still want to enjoy the morning breeze to do yoga"

With that, the two boys went upstairs and Wyatt went for a drawer in his closet to get some clean towels and then he opened a drawer on his bed side to get some mats. He was having a bit issue locating them so he got on his knees and lowered to look better.

When he found them he rose his head and he blushed thousands times fold. Matthew was changing and was in underwear, a black boxer with a white band. It was very fit on him and the fact that he was not facing in Wyatt's direction but the opposite way allowed Wyatt to see his bum. His eyes went up to his lower back worked out and his wide back he had seen before. It wasn't new yet he couldn't remove his eyes from the gator's body. He was staring, the gator was bending a bit to wear a short, as he did it made Wyatt self aware and look away quickly.

The gator proceeded to wear a shirt and fold his pajama well and let them on the bed. He looked at Wyatt who was looking at the closet with a weird expression and couldn't help but ask.

Matthew: "huh. You okay buddy?"

Wyatt turned to him and talked loudly anxiously.

Wyatt: "what?! Oh huh yes I'm huh fine"

Matthew: "huh okay...well Imma go fetch the bottles downstairs and head out with Lauren, you'll be fine with the mats and towels or need any help?"

Wyatt realized he was still kneeling and quickly got up with some mats and the towels were on the bed.

Wyatt: "oh it's fine. Don't forget the speaker"

The gator flashed a speaker the size of his own hand with smooth edged cubic shape. It had the name of a famous brand that was said to have the best quality of sound and was even water resistant.

Wyatt: "Damn that looks quite pricy"

Matthew: "sure was, had to save money for months to get this little baby and the investment was totally worth it. I've had this for 2 years now and it stills works as fine as the first day."

Wyatt: "guess you know how to keep things in good shape...(*blushing*) I-I mean you are good at not destroying things"

Matthew: "I guess we can say that. I better not mess my things up or else I will need to save money again and God, is it hard"

Wyatt: "I guess...I don't do savings, unless i want to go in another city"

Matthew: "you get to travel on your own?"

Wyatt: "yeah, well I'm not allowed to go too far either"

Matthew: "your dad's cool. My mom would never let me get out of the town (*laughing*)"

Wyatt chuckled.

Wyatt: "well, I guess she worries about her big old baby"

Matthew: "very funny, so so you have an extended family? Like relatives...if I can ask"

Wyatt: "Nope, as I said, just me and my dad. I don't have anyone else at least none that I know of. I just remember my father once telling me that my mom had left her family to be with him. It was a bit unsettling to see a Wolf and a dog kin together and I guess it went bad. So basically even if I had cousins or anything they wouldn't know me and I wouldn't as well"

Matthew: "That's kinda sad"

Wyatt: "yeah suck, but i got my dad and amazing friends"

Matthew smiled.

Matthew: "That's the spirit"

Lauren: "Bitches, I was waiting for like ages. What the hell took you so long?"

Matthew: "sheesh don't need to appear like that. I'm coming"

Wyatt: "yeah let's go"

Lauren: "uh huh...yeah sure. Okay"

Wyatt walked to the door as Lauren led them out. Matthew got the bottles and they headed out for the yoga. For 30 good minutes, Lauren switched from one pose to another, each time with grace and elegance and a monstrous flexibility. Wyatt and Matthew followed as much as they could, some poses were easy, others had them almost trip and bite their tongues off. Lauren was satisfied with their good skills and kept showing new poses.

There was a background music she played on the speaker, a sort of wind blowing through a forest. It was relaxing and not noisy. The autumn wind was warm here in the morning, gently ruffling against them like in an embrace.

It soon started chilling and after 30 more minutes it was cold. Lauren stopped and said they should call it a day. They drank some water and went back in. After packing everything back and refreshing a bit with quick shower, they all sat in the living room exhaling feeling rejuvenated. Wyatt looked at his phone, there few texts notifications he went through them and saw there were 2 from his father and 1 from an unknown number.

He frowned in confusion and ignored it. He opened his father's texts and read "Hey Wyatt, can you go buy some groceries please, I forgot to do that and I can't reach Cassius. Sorry If I'm bothering you with it" Wyatt rolled his eyes and replied to that text with thumbs up emoji, he read the second one "I love you son" he looked at the text and seemed to stare at it for 2 good minutes. His expression concerning, Matthew noticed and nudged his shoulder.

Matthew: "Buddy?"

Wyatt looked at Matthew and quickly fixed his face before getting up. Matthew wanted to ask but he knew the shepherd would not answer entirely or not at all even. He just looked at the shepherd as he walked.

Wyatt: "I will make lunch, any preferences?"

Lauren: "oh we do have some of the things we bought"

Wyatt: "you want to eat snacks for lunch?"

Lauren: "ooooh yeah, my bad. Need some help?"

Wyatt: "it'll be fine thanks. So what do you guys want to eat?"

Matthew: "well I don't have any restrictions aside from fat, i try avoiding that in my meals"

Lauren: "wooo, sorry Fit boy"

Matthew: "Lauren, shut up"

Lauren: "you wish"

Wyatt: "I will cook accordingly then. You guys can play games if you want, there are some games in the cabinet over there and controllers"

Lauren: "oh great"

Lauren rushed to the cabinet he was pointing and opened it to find multiple games DVD and controllers. She started going around the names on the covers.

Lauren: "Dang, I knew you liked games but there's a ton of it"

Wyatt: "my dad is also a game addict. That's why we have a lot of video games here"

Matthew: "got fighting games?"

Wyatt: "you bet, also some FPS games and racing too"

Lauren: "Your dad is so interesting. On which game do you wanna lose Gator?"

Wyatt: "Coming from you I should be scared for him"

She turned to him with a grin while showcasing some games, 2 fighting games, a FPS and a Racing game.

Matthew got closer and looked at the games.

Matthew: "oh darling I can take you on any of them but Imma choose this one"

He picked one of the fighting game, "Fatal fights 1 " he smiled.

Matthew: "so I can rip your bones and make you choke on them while you bleed"

Lauren: "I always knew you wanted to kill me. Wyatt your friend is a psychopath"

Matthew: "Who's a psycho?"

Matthew lunged at her and tickled her. She started giggling before bursting into laughter and tried to push him away but he chuckled as he held her still while tickling her.

Lauren: "s-stoppp haha"

Matthew: "Say the magic word"

Lauren was about to pee herself while Wyatt had a slightly annoyed look and got to the kitchen.

Lauren: "P-please"

Matthew laughed and let her go while she chuckled.

Lauren: "you are so childish"

Matthew: "That means you are even more childish for saying so"

They laughed heartedly. Lauren then turned on the TV and Matthew made the adjustments with the console and loaded the game. Wyatt took a book from the upper cabinet and dusted it off...there was signature on it and his eyes looked at it as he rubbed it gently.

It was a recipe book his mother had signed by the author herself, a famous French chef. He remembered not so much since he was young but his father would cook using this book for years after the accident until he stopped few years ago because he memorized the recipes. The book didn't move since then. Wyatt opened it and flipped through the pages, he landed on something, a folded sticker.

He opened the old paper and there was something written "Just in case you forget" he remembered the handwriting of his mother, he looked at the recipe showcased and realized it was his favorite when he was younger.

He smiled a bit and felt warm, wiping a tear from his eyes as he could hear Lauren cursing in the living room probably losing to Matthew. He thought of the latter and Lauren, they seemed to have bonded fast. He felt something like a heavy sensation around his heart but couldn't tell what it was, he shrugged it off and flipped the pages again, he found something that could fit everyone likes. And with that he started cooking.

Putting some music and leaving his phone on the counter while he started taking out the various ingredients. He couldn't hear the ruckus in the living room. Matthew was good at video games and Lauren learned that after some rounds.

Lauren: "okay listen to me Matthew, I'm done going easy on you"

Matthew: "oh are you now? I thought you were going all out"

He grinned and chuckled as she frowned while focusing on her controller and the screen. The grin on Matthew's face faded slowly to turn to a serious face as Lauren was getting tougher to beat with each rounds.

Matthew: "hm you are good"

Lauren: "I just needed a warm up"

Matthew: "let's see how warm you want it now"

With that Matthew threw a powerful combo to Lauren's character and end her with a ultimate. Her character was done for and he activated a fatality move allowing his character to dislocated her character's jaw then stab her with that in the throat before kicking her so hard it break through her then throwing her up like a ball and blasting a powerful lava burst from below melting her body. Matthew put the controller down and got up cheerful.

Matthew: "And that's how you roast a bitch"

He got to the kitchen with big smile and got the shepherd attention who looked at him as he was about to put something in the oven.

Matthew: "Wyatt, I literally demolished Lauren, she is so weak at this"

Lauren ran and got past him.

Lauren: "Don't listen to this cheater, he used an OP character"

Matthew: "You literally took the god of the darkness"

Lauren shouted.

Lauren: "Matthewwwww !!!!!!"

She raged and crossed her arms. Wyatt took off his apron and folded it.

Wyatt: "I got 5 minutes while the vegetables are marinating"

Wyatt took Lauren's controller and sat, Matthew sat next to him and grinned.

Matthew: "Ready to get your ass whooped"

Lauren: "Wyatt you better not lose or I will kill you"

Wyatt smiled and took his character which was not the most flashy one and Lauren even had a time to remember who it was. Matthew chuckled at the choice and took the same character he used against Lauren. The round was about to start and Wyatt's eyes looked at his controller then he focused on the screen.

Matthew had his eyes wide opened...the round was over and he lost...perfect...Lauren laughed and pulled her tongue out.

Lauren: "Bitch you got humbled"

Matthew: "Wyatt you...okay I underestimated you...let's try again"

Wyatt only smiled and the next round started, this time Matthew could touch Wyatt's character but only to get beaten again. He growled a bit and leaned forward as he got serious.

Lauren: "How does it feel to lose now?"

Matthew: "oh please, I'm gonna fuck him !"

Wyatt was cut off guard by this choice of words and didn't realize the round started, Matthew got a whole advantage and won the round before saying.

Matthew: "Ha! I won! See Lauren!"

Lauren: "Wyatt! You better not lose"

It was the last round, if he wins, then it will be his victory but if he loses it will be a draw and they will fight an extra round.

The round started and Matthew had the upper hand, Wyatt did a marvelous combo in the air and kept using it until his ultimate was ready to use. He used it but Matthew was quick to react and evaded it to use his own ultimate and win the round. Wyatt cursed then sighed as the last round started. This time, Wyatt had the upper hand and his victory was close, but the intensity of their game and movements made them be closer on the couch, so close Wyatt could feel the gator's leg on his own.

His mind was distracted by thoughts and Matthew got back in the fight and got back from his losing point. Both of them threw their ultimate at the same time but since Matthew's character ultimate was a long ranged one, it took Wyatt's first and he cursed loudly. Matthew got up to execute his fatality and end the match while laughing hard. Wyatt got up as he sighed in defeat.

Matthew: "In your face Lauren! I destroyed him too"

Lauren: "Wyatt I will kill you, I swear"

Wyatt: "Damn, I lost. You're good Matthew."

Matthew: "likewise. You clearly are better than the yapping bitch"

Lauren jumped on him and he stepped back and she landed on Wyatt who fell back on the couch. Matthew then took them both in an embrace.

Matthew: "now you know I'm the strongest both in the real world and in video games"

Lauren: "bitch that's just one game"

Wyatt: "And you didn't win from much"

He lifted them up and chuckled

Matthew: "oh are you sour loosers?"

Wyatt rolled his eyes and Lauren just ignored him. They ended up laughing then Matthew put them down again. Wyatt left back to the kitchen and Matthew played some other games with Lauren. It was fun and the day promised to be great.

Cassius was sitting on a chair, his fur was messy and chaotic. He was leaning forward, his hands holding his head. His clothes were ripped from places. And he was slightly wounded, nothing life threatening. He was thinking, there were some beast screams roaring in the hallway as long as electric impulse noises. He took out his phone and saw Liam has tried to reach him. He couldn't respond right now.m, there was too much he wouldn't be able to hide in his voice.

There were some people in a completely black armor suit, like soldiers but they had a symbol on their chest, a sort of meteor or falling star. He looked at them moving rapidly towards the noise and after few seconds, it stopped. He sighed and got a call, he thought it was Liam but it was...he frowned.

Cassius: "Yes"

?: "What's the situation?"

Cassius: "...stabilized. Dare to explain what happened ?"

?: "Something must have stimulated it, I am working on that. It did go on a rampage and made few damage to the West facility"

Cassius: "A whole explosion is your definition of few damage? Bite me"

?: "Don't worry, it will pass as a simple common problem. I have my men cover that"

Cassius: "How did you manage to have people in the authority service?"

?: "oh quite handy to know the mafia"

Cassius: "..."

?: "okay, I will let you go back to your master, my men will handle it from here"

The person hung up and Cassius cursed under his breath and leaned back in his seat as he looked at the ceiling, huge marks of claws visible. He closed his eyes and wondered how he could deal with the situation before it explodes on his face. Time passing, scars forming and story unfolding.
