CHAPTER-07

"Did you guys find something?" Yongi asked coming back into their office from the hospital.

"Nothing much actually," Jimin said.

" I found something. But I'm not sure," Jungkook said looking at his monitor.

"Tell me," Yongi said.

"The identity of the victim. I think he was a victim of a car accident five years ago," Jungkook said showing Yongi the records.

The records showed that five years ago a family of three was under a car accident. Both the parents died and only the son survived.

"Did you check his ID?" Yongi asked.

"I did and I found his name. Here," Jungkook gave Yongi a piece of paper.

The victim's name was Park Cha Yung,22 years old,a student of Seoul medical school. He used to live in the college dorms.

"No missing report?" Yongi asked.

Jungkook shook his head.

Hoseak,Jimin and Yongi read the reports that Jungkook found.

"Hello, doctor Im. Yeah, we'll be there," Yongi said over the phone.

"Guys, doctor Im called. Me and Jungkook will go,meet her. Jimin and J-hope,go to the Seoul medical school to find out more about the victim," Yongi instructed.

Three of them nodded and followed Yongi out of the room.

"Doctor Im," Yongi greeted, going inside the forensic lab.

Doctor Im was eating instant noddles sitting beside the body and watching something in the monitor.

"Captain Min," doctor Im greeted too.

"Did you find something?" Yongi asked.

"Many things actually," doctor Im said.

"Jungkook-ah,when you saw the body,did you find the smile on it's face?" Doctor Im asked Jungkook.

Jungkook nodded.

He saw it actually and it seemed really creepy.

The young man was smiling.

"What about it?" Jungkook asked.

"I found a type of drug in the body. It actually make people confused about pain and pleasure," doctor Im started to talk.

Yongi and Jungkook listened carefully.

"You guys see the scars on the back,this was all done when the victim was still alive but he couldn't tell if it really hurt. His brain was confused about whether he was feeling pain or pleasure," doctor Im added.

"What is the cause of the death?" Yongi asked.

"The drug. I still have to find the exact name. Locally it's found in a small island of native Africa. But Cap,do you what is the most interesting?" Doctor Im asked.

There was a little shine in her eyes.

"What?" Yongi asked.

"The victim died in between 4to 5 am. So the killer knew when to inject the drug to kill the victim in exact time he wanted," doctor Im said.

Jungkook thought the killer sitting in front the victim, watching him dying slowly,that strange smile slowly forming on the victim's face.

Jungkook's whole body shreddered by that thought.

"So,you're saying the killer is someone who is well educated in drugs?" Yongi asked.

"Not only that. You remember the huge stiching mark on the chest of the victim?" Doctor Im asked.

Both Yongi and Jungkook nodded.

"It's mark because the sternum of the victim was cut open from here," doctor Im said showing them the cut.

"There is no heart?" Jungkook asked in surprise.

"No, everything else was there but no heart," doctor Im said.

"The killer took the heart," Yongi said.

"Why? Like some prize?" Jungkook asked.

Yongi nodded.

"The cut and process was really accurate.

So, I think the killer is someone who is really good at medical science," doctor Im said.

"Medical science," Yongi thought.

"Any sign of sexual abuse or anything?"Yongi asked.

"No. In fact,the body was really clean. I think the killer cleaned the body before dumping it,"Doctor Im replied.

"Can you take a guess who might be the killer?"Yongi asked.

"Well,I'm not sure. But,I think it's a man. You see,the surgery of the heart,the cleaning the body and dumping it like that,it needs really heavy physical strength,"Doctor Im suggested.

Jungkook nodded in understanding. He also felt so.

"Anything else?" Yongi asked.

"Not now," doctor Im said.

"Then we'll get going. Thank you,doc," Yongi said.

"Bye,noona," Jungkook said.

Yongi and Jungkook left the forensic lab.

"Hyung,do you think the killer can be from the medical school?" Jungkook asked.

"We need more information to even take a guess," Yongi said.
