CHAPTER-14

"You met my daughter?" Shi YuiJu asked frowning.

His eyes had a very dangerous light.

Yongi nodded.

"She's doing well. I saw her in the orphanage," Yongi said.

"Orphanage?" Shi YuiJu asked in a cold voice.

Jungkook noticed Shi YuiJu's eyes becoming more and more red.

"Yes," Yongi said in an equal cold voice.

"What do you want?" Shi YuiJu asked Yongi, his eyes returned to normal and posture seemed more relaxed.

Taehyung frowned at this change of behavior. He couldn't understand what went through this two men.

"Nothing much," Yongi said and reconned Jungkook with his hand.

Jungkook walked in front and put a photo on the table, then went back to the corner again.

His whole attitude seemed like he wasn't interested in anything that was happening in the room.

But,his eyes remained sharp and attentive.

Shi YuiJu looked at the photo.

There was a surprise in a his eyes but he masked it quickly.

"What do you mean by this?" Shi YuiJu asked.

"Nothing much," Yongi said again.

Taehyung laughed loudly.

Man,this was funny.

"You think someone is copying you?" Yongi asked.

"Isn't it your job to find that out?" Shi YuiJu asked instead of replying.

Yongi didn't say anything, just looked at Shi YuiJu.

One moment passed between two men in silence.

It was Shi YuiJu who diverted his eyes first.

"Jungkook-ah,let's go," Yongi said standing up.

Jungkook just followed Yongi out of the room.

"Hyung, how do you know about Shi YuiJu's daughter?" Taehyung asked Yongi when they came out of the room and entered the room where Taehyung was.

"I read the file that lieutenant Song have us," Yongi replied as he sat down.

"But she's not in the orphanage," Taehyung said.

"Yeah. I need to check that out properly," Yongi said.

"What do you think about the heart, prosecutor Kim?" Jungkook asked Taehyung.

"I think the

heart is the symbol of love," Taehyung said.

"Love?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah. According to Detective Chi's report,Shi YuiJu had an affair with all the victims before their death," Taehyung said.

That was new information for Yongi and Jungkook.

"But, why'd he take them like that?" Jungkook asked.

"Maybe as a souvenir. Like when people say to their lover that they'll give them their heart," Taehyung said with a shrug.

"What did he do with those heart?" Jungkook asked.

"The police couldn't find them," Taehyung answered.

"He didn't say anything about that?" Jungkook asked.

"No. Apart from his confession,he never said anything else," Taehyung said.

Yongi listened to Taehyung's words carefully.

"We need to meet detective Chi," Yongi said.

"Are you guys going Daegu?" Taehyung asked.

Yongi nodded.

"Can I tag along?" Taehyung asked.

"Why?" Jungkook asked.

"Just for the fun," Taehyung said smiling.

Jungkook really wanted to punch that hypocritical smile off his face.

"Taehyung-ah,is the lover thing really true?" Yongi asked.

"According to Detective Chi it seemed like that," Taehyung said.

"We need those papers quickly," Jungkook said.

"I can give them to you," Taehyung volunteered.

"You said you couldn't before," Jungkook said.

"I can if you guys take me to Daegu with you," Taehyung said.

"Ok," Yongi said.

"Jungkook-ah,go with Taehyung to take the papers. I have something to do," Yongi instructed.

"Ok, hyung," Jungkook said.
