I do

My eyes started to burn, and reality kicked back in as the change in music gained my attention. It changed from the traditional wedding instrumental to our favorite song.

Blinking away the tears as best as possible, I refocused my attention on my wife-to-be, who was already more than halfway down the aisle. The veil itself was making me just as desperate as the slowness of the tune.

My face hadn't broken out of a smile since I laid eyes on her, and I didn't mind one bit. What I did mind was her not getting here any faster so we could do unnecessary stuff and kiss.

Patience.

I really should've been, but it was about damn time I had her soft hands in mine.

I had to go along with the 'bad luck to see the bride before the wedding day' thanks to both father-in-law and daughter-in-law teaming up against me. So for one day and a half, I've only heard her voice, and I'm dying for a touch.
