Celebration

The story of victory resonated worldwide, with overwhelming admiration for the brave Heathers and Hemorrians. However, in the midst of the enthusiastic applause, some members of the Ikes began to voice their doubts, believing that the triumph was merely a deception. Some individuals even joined the ranks to ensure their cause prevailed. Nevertheless, a ceremony was organized to pay tribute to those individuals who had fought bravely.

On the morning of the celebration, in a room atop the hills just a few miles from the palace city, Micah and Peter were getting ready for the grand event. Even though they were still living under the same roof, Jack had granted them instant citizenship in his realm, displaying a newfound sense of respect. Vienne and Caville were carefully getting ready, paying close attention to their appearance, while Xavier appeared relaxed and unconcerned about his outfit.

However, the lingering impact of recent occurrences continued to haunt their thoughts, even seeping into their dreams. However, they remained determined, having emerged victorious in the battle and fully aware that numerous challenges still awaited them.

Asiris was already downstairs, completely absorbed in the news coverage of the recent battle. Out of nowhere, Caville's voice interrupted his focus.

"So, is the US now deeply involved?" she asked as she followed behind Asiris.

“Indeed, it seems that way,” he responded with a laugh while perusing an amusing post. “Are the children prepared?”

They should be.

At that moment, a stroke of luck occurred. "Look, they're coming," she exclaimed, as they both turned to see the approaching figures.

“Okay, I’ll contact Jack and inform him that we’re ready,” Asiris said, opening the calling app.

“Alright, you do your thing,” she responded, leaving Asiris to his tasks.

He placed the call, and the limousine arrived promptly, a quicker event since the conflict.

Stepping out of the door, they were met by Jack graciously opening the car door for them. While the rest were indifferent, Asiris took issue and went up to Jack, stating, "You're not our driver." Let's handle this. What do you think about that? Jack paid attention and went back to the driver's seat. The limousine smoothly traveled through the vibrant and busy streets, eventually reaching the top of the hill and the entrance gates. This time, everyone was invited, and helicopters were on standby, ready to capture the scene.

The doors opened wide, revealing a scene filled with flashing cameras and excited supporters.

“This is one thing I did not miss,” Peter muttered, while the brothers chuckled.

"I'm going to miss this," Xavier said, rubbing his hands together. "Let the women approach me."

When the door swung open, the girls couldn't contain their excitement as they flocked to Xavier, eager to get close to their beloved figure. Peter and Micah were completely engrossed in blinking every time the cameras went off. Vienne maintained a composed attitude towards the fans, leading them through the door with ease.

The event took place in a luxurious red room with black carpets, as attendees excitedly captured the moment on their phones, celebrating the modern-day icons. Journalists and their camera crew gathered, ready to cover the event showcasing the prominent figures of the time.

Asiris stayed stoic in the face of the reporters' excitement, attempting to ignore them. They took their designated seats, marked with personalized name tags to ensure exclusivity.

Before long, the lights dimmed, and a soft blue light filled the room as the main figure stepped onto the stage.

“Greetings to the splendid realm of Hemor,” the monarch said, displaying what appeared to be seven medals, despite there being only six Heathers. "As everyone is aware, a week ago, a conflict took place just outside our borders." But ultimately, we came out on top. And now, I want to pay tribute to them from the bottom of my heart.

Asiris nodded, his thoughts drifted back to the conflict of the previous week, the memories swiftly blending into distant recollections.

“The first medal goes to my trusted general, General Visch!” the monarch declared, and General Visch, who had been standing near Asiris, stepped forward to the platform.

“Next, one of the greatest generals of our time—Asiris of the Heatherland!”

Asiris stood humbly, clutching his prize tightly.

“Next up is one of the most formidable fighters of this century—Caville!!”

She embraced a "fashion model" look when receiving the award, exuding elegance.

And then, the spotlight fell on Vienne. The subsequent presentation was adorned with a sophisticated charm.

“Next, Xavier!”

Xavier, on the other hand, proudly expanded his chest, causing some of the female spectators to swoon, a lighthearted exaggeration.

The monarch seemed slightly surprised, but he continued.

“And Peter!” he exclaimed, giving a friendly smile to the crowd.

And finally, the most important, courageous, and exceptional individual—Micah!!! The audience burst into cheers and expressed their admiration for Micah as he made his way to the stage.

“These brave soldiers have assisted in securing this kingdom, defending us - now it is our turn to support them.”

Asiris experienced a wave of happiness in his chest as they embraced each other with excitement.

Asiris conveyed his thanks sincerely. "Thank you very much!"

“No, this is our thank you,” the king responded, shaking his hand eagerly.

This signaled the start of a truce and a friendship that would become nearly unbreakable, leading many to push its limits.

"Now, as the second part of our ceremony commences—our heroes will join me shortly."

Without delay, the king motioned for the group to follow him.

"Now, listen—we have arranged an airplane for you all and Dr. Lenz." He has shared the whereabouts of his friend, and you are about to set off on a meaningful adventure.

“Alright, your majesty,” Caville replied. “So, where are the airplanes?”

The monarch laughed, "Oh, they're right here."

The team made their way to a specific location with aircraft, observing mechanics hard at work on the engines.

Turning towards the group, the monarch addressed them. "May God help you along the way."
