The Warehouse
Adam clap sends out a mini vibration that forces the men to awakened their senses.
The boss immediately jumps to his feet, he quickly glance at his surrounding before his racing heart returns to the normal rate.
That kid must've runaway, he probably used all his energy to fight them, certainly, he was afraid of the Red reapers.
Who won't be afraid of the Red reapers.
The boss step to his men and kicked them hard on their middle.
"Wake up!!, wake up, you bunch of bullshit!"
Each of the men wake up after three successful kick from the boss, they jumped to their feet with total awareness.
"Where is he, where is the kid!!!"
The man that Adam knocked down first was shouting.
His face was deadly as he glanced around the surrounding, his eyes met with the boss eyes and the boss screamed.
"Shut up!, shut up!!!"
He came out of the alley and headed to the van direction.
"Get those boys inside the van quickly, the buyer will soon be arriving"
The men moved quickly with the action, they bagged Benjamin and the rest, then they fling them inside the van.
"Let's go"
The boss starts the engine and set to the base direction.
Adam follows them swiftly, then he leaps into the air and lands lightly on the roof of the van, but his landing made a slight sound.
The men gazed to the roof of the van.
"Perhaps, it's a bird, it's not raining"
The boss nods agreeing to the person sitting close to him.
Adam sits on the top of the van as they head to the base, he would've used grade fifteen of Invisibility, then his landing won't have made any sound, because he would've been like the wind itself.
He has an apprentice that awakened invisibility as her ability, and she is doing quite well in getting matters solved.
She is ranked seventh in the hero ranking anyway.
The men reached an old warehouse, the whole street was out of electricity, and nobody seemed to be living here.
The trash can outside each house was empty, and the place seems unkept, could it be these properties belong to the gangs.
They probably forced the residents here to give up their home.
Adam fist hardened, people can be sometimes worst than the monsters evading earth.
In this time when random gates are opening all over the country, there are still villains which are making the hero's job more difficult.
The van stopped at the old warehouse parking space, the men got out, and they fetch out Benjamin and the others.
Adam jumps down from the van too, this time he didn't make any sound.
He casually followed them from behind as they walked inside the warehouse.
"Take them to the rest"
The boss clicked the switch at the entrance of the warehouse and the place lightened up.
Adam's eyebrows moved when he saw other ability users being tied down at the corner of the warehouse, they were fifty in numbers, with Benjamin and the rest adding to the numbers, they are currently fifty-four.
He can't believe these people have captured fifty ability users without getting noticed by the police or any other security bodies.
They sure know how to do their thing.
According to the boss memories, they had only captured thirty people, so that is why this was a little surprising to him, since the number increased, it means the men that were stationed in the warehouse set out to find more ability users.
One of the doors at the corner of the warehouse opened and over twenty men came out of it.
"Boss, we captured over fifteen more people"
The man said it with a prideful expression, he reached to the boss with a playful smile on his face.
"I have called the buyer, he will be here soon"
The boss eyebrows raised with excitement, the money they are getting from each ability user is five thousand dollars, these people are damn rich to pay such an amount, and if they continue with the trading business, they might become a billionaire in no time.
His cheeks moved with excitement.
"Let's get ready then"
They unchained the ones at the corners and brought them to the middle of the empty warehouse.
Adam's eyes analyze the captives users, they were suffering from poison, obviously the boss earlier needles were poisoned, but he didn't expect the poison to be this potent. They will never get their senses back until they receive the antidote.
A few minutes later, over ten black vans arrived at the entrance of the warehouse.
A tall elegant man in a black blazer suit emerged from the first van.
His ability grade was fully displayed on his right hand. Grade 10.
He was followed by four beefy men, they were also ability user with the grades of seven, six, five, and four.
The four men were each holding a briefcase as they followed the elegant man from behind.
People also came out of the rest vans, but they stick to the van like bodyguards.
"Mr. Junior, we are so honored to have you here"
The boss extended his hand for a handshake, but Mr. Junior left his hand hanging in the air, his eyes moved to the people on the floor then he faced the boss again.
"How many are they"
"Fifty four"
The boss sounded confidently.
Mr. Junior's cheeks moved slightly, but it was only for a short while and the boss didn't notice it because he was staring at the floor, he dare not look at Mr. Junior face.
"Okay, I will take this trade, but the next trade should have at least a hundred people before you contact me"
"Yes, Mr. Junior, we will get that done quickly"
The boss cheeks were dancing, Mr. Junior has proposed another trade to him, doesn't that mean more money.
They are going to make a fortune from this!
His cheeks were still dancing when somebody voice out.
"I am afraid there won't be another trade"
A teenage boy suddenly appeared some distance away from them.
Adam stepped forward and continued.
"And I have some questions that you will be answering.."
