Qi Weixin approached her, slowly lifting her head, her eyes red and swollen, chokingly cried out, "Teacher." After that call for the teacher, more tears came streaming out.
Hu Lanzhi stood frozen.
"What's wrong? What happened?" she asked.
Seeing that Qi Weixin did not answer, she then looked towards Huang Li.
Huang Li let out a sigh and said, "I don't know what's wrong with this child; as soon as she got home she just cried, and no matter how I asked, she wouldn't say what happened. She even skipped lunch, and I was truly at a loss, so I brought her to you, hoping you could help her sort through her thoughts, to see what's really going on."
Hu Lanzhi nodded, as Qi Weixin's homeroom teacher, it was her responsibility.
She squatted down in front of Qi Weixin and asked softly, "Weixin, tell the teacher what's wrong."
Qi Weixin still didn't answer, just kept wiping away tears with her hand.
