Qi Lian, upon hearing the noise, came out of the study.
Seeing Qi Lian, Qi Weixin felt a wave of grievance, "Dad, our math teacher gave me a problem set for a test. What should I do!"
"Why would he let you take a test out of the blue?" Qi Lian asked, frowning.
Qi Weixin sobbed as she recounted what had just happened in the office in bits and pieces, finishing with an anxious question, "Dad, what should I do? I can't solve any of those problems!"
"The Xiu Xi you mentioned, is he the same male student from last time?" Qi Lian's face looked dreadful.
Qi Weixin nodded, feeling wronged, "This time, we tied for first place." She hadn't considered that Xiu Xi might have had a hand in this; after all, she was young and couldn't think of everything.
But Qi Lian thought differently; he certainly didn't believe it was a coincidence.
Looking at his daughter, who was still sobbing, he asked, "Did you slip up? Or couldn't keep your mouth shut and let your classmates find out?"
