One Rainy Day

Olivia felt totally duped by Aaron. She dropped the umbrella in the stand by the door, looking around in disbelief. "This is what you call an apartment?"

What they were really in was a penthouse with ten bedrooms. Olivia's eyes widened as she took in the luxurious surroundings—marble floors, floor-to-ceiling windows with a breathtaking city view, and modern, elegant furniture. The spaciousness and opulence were overwhelming. She turned to Aaron, a mixture of confusion and amazement in her expression.

"Same difference," Aaron shrugged, lounging back. "I only use one room. The others are just for guests, if there's a crowd." His sweet smile aimed at Olivia warmed her heart. "This way, you can relax and feel comfortable."

"Why should I feel relaxed and comfortable?" Olivia narrowed her eyes at him.

Aaron brushed his damp hair out of his face, raising an eyebrow. "Because you don't have to share a room with me." His answer made Olivia grimace.
