"Yoichi-san, you went too far!!"
Hinata's embarrassed and angry voice echoed as she pulled the blanket from the bed to cover herself. During the shoot, her outfit had been disheveled, exposing a fair amount of skin. Now, she used the blanket to cover everything.
"You… you promised not to do that, and yet you still—"
"Hinata-san, don't say things that could cause misunderstandings. I didn't do anything," Yoichi replied firmly.
He had upheld their agreement perfectly.
"Hinata-san, if I hadn't kept my promise, you'd have every right to blame me. But I clearly did nothing wrong this time."
"But… but you still did that..." Hinata stammered, her face a mix of shyness and anger. With her reserved personality, she found it difficult to voice her frustration directly.
Despite her inner conflict, she couldn't deny that Yoichi's prolonged physical contact during the scene had crossed a line.
"This is unacceptable! Yoichi-san, don't you think this kind of thing is meant only for married couples?"
"I'm not married in this timeline, Hinata-san," Yoichi replied nonchalantly, deliberately withholding part of the truth.
Hinata was momentarily stunned, unable to counter his slippery reasoning. However, a part of her felt relieved that nothing too serious had happened. At least this way, she wouldn't feel like she was betraying Naruto.
"Hinata-san, if you're uncomfortable with this level of contact, I promise not to touch there again during future shoots. That should be acceptable, right?"
Hinata's expression softened slightly, though she still looked at him with a hint of suspicion. "Really, Yoichi-san? You promise not to act that way again during filming?"
"Don't worry, Hinata-san. I won't do anything to make you uncomfortable. I'll make sure to keep my word. After all, I'll probably be getting married soon. I wouldn't want any rumors to spread either," Yoichi said seriously.
"Alright… I'll trust you this time, Yoichi-san," Hinata replied, her voice tinged with lingering shyness. She then added, "Now, turn around. I need to fix my clothes."
"Take your time. I'll adjust the camera in the meantime," Yoichi said as he turned away.
While Yoichi busied himself with the camera, Hinata tidied her clothes and straightened the bed. When her eyes landed on a large damp spot on the bed, her face turned scarlet.
'This… this is my fault,' she thought, feeling conflicted. Although she wanted to blame Yoichi, her upbringing made her focus on herself instead.
'This shouldn't happen. I only love Naruto-kun. My body... something must be wrong with me.'
However, she was only fooling herself. If she were truly uncomfortable, there wouldn't have been such evidence on the bed.
Once everything was in order, Yoichi called in Director Wada, who was already under his mental suggestion. After reviewing the footage, Wada showered them with praise, so much so that Hinata felt reassured about her decision to stay in the project.
With the day's filming concluded, Wada dismissed the crew, and Hinata and Yoichi left the set.
As they walked out, Yoichi turned to Hinata and said, "Hinata-san, I'll be taking my leave now."
"Yoichi-san…" Hinata hesitated, taking a deep breath before continuing. "About today… and last time… let's pretend none of it happened, alright?"
Yoichi smiled faintly but quickly replaced it with a serious expression. "Of course. I won't say a word. Until next time, Hinata-san."
With that, Yoichi turned and left.
'Next time, I'll use a different approach,' he thought to himself. The Dominance of Dreams? Or the Succubus Physique? Definitely the latter. With his newly upgraded psychic roulette, Yoichi could now lock and stop abilities at will. This would allow Hinata to experience the effects of the Succubus Physique without pushing her to exhaustion.
'This little rabbit won't be able to escape for long.'
...
"Sasuke, is this where the Kara Organization is keeping the Ten-Tails?"
Naruto's voice broke the silence as he scanned their surroundings. The sky was dim and oppressive, and visibility dropped sharply beyond a certain distance. Upon entering this dimension, he also lost his sensory connection to their village.
"This isn't anywhere in the Shinobi World," Naruto remarked.
Sasuke pointed ahead. "The Ten-Tails is there. As planned, we'll release it and seal it immediately."
With that, Sasuke leaped onto the altar built by Ōtsutsuki Isshiki. The other Kage quickly took charge of their respective teams, following the pre-arranged strategy.
"Barrier Team, prepare!"
"Wait!" Sasuke suddenly shouted, his voice reverberating through the space. The loudness startled Naruto, who was about to move.
"Sasuke, keep it down! What if something unexpected happens?" Naruto complained.
"The Ten-Tails is gone!"
"What?!" Naruto's exclamation was even louder than Sasuke's. Golden chakra surged around him as his face transformed into the markings of the Sage of the Six Paths mode. He immediately appeared next to Sasuke.
Naruto peered into the underground space beneath the altar and found it empty. Apart from several black rods embedded in the ground, there was nothing there.
"These rods… they look like they were made using Rinnegan techniques. There are ten of them," Naruto noted.
Naruto was sure the Ten-Tails had been here. The black rods were likely used to restrict its movements. But where could it have gone?
"Did the Kara Organization move it?" Naruto speculated.
"I'm not sure. Two days ago, it was still here. If they moved it, why leave the rods behind?" Sasuke frowned.
Just as the thought occurred to him, a warning came through from one of the lookout shinobi.
"There's an unfamiliar chakra signature approaching rapidly. It's massive!"
