Chapter 410

Naruto was utterly shocked by the overwhelming chakra surging within him. This sensation was unlike anything he had ever experienced before—not even when he had fought Kaguya. Only the time when Kurama had absorbed all the natural energy around them came close to this feeling.

"Dammit, Naruto! You absorbed way too much energy! I'm about to burst!"

Kurama's voice rang out in Naruto's mind. "I'm gonna need to sleep this off. It'll take me a few days to recover."

With that, Kurama curled up and fell into a deep slumber. Had it not been for him stabilizing the chakra flow, Naruto might have been overwhelmed and destroyed by the sheer force of it. Unlike Sasuke, he didn't have the Rinnegan to assist with absorption.

A few minutes after Naruto stood up, Sasuke also rose to his feet. However, a sealing mark had appeared on his forehead—the effect of the talisman that Yoichi had given him, helping him store the excess chakra.

"Sasuke, you alright?"

"Yeah, I feel great. But this chakra is hard to control… Luckily, this seal is helping manage it. I'll need some time to get used to it. Thanks."

The last word of gratitude was directed at Yoichi. However, Yoichi simply waved a hand dismissively and said, "No need for thanks. You've only absorbed less than a third of the total energy stored in the Pure Land. There's still plenty left, but I'd say you've reached your limit."

"Yeah… Even with the Rinnegan and the seal, I wouldn't be able to absorb any more. But this is more than enough."

Sasuke assessed the chakra within him before glancing at Naruto.

With this power, both of them had essentially returned to their peak strength from the Fourth Great Ninja War. Defeating Jigen now was absolutely within their reach.

Naruto clenched his fists together with renewed confidence. "That's right! Next time we face Jigen, Sasuke and I will definitely defeat him!"

"By the way, Yoichi-san, could you tell us more details about Isshiki?"

Yoichi feigned deep thought before responding, "The specifics are a bit hazy… It's all knowledge passed down from my predecessors a thousand years ago. Tell you what—I'll look into it when I get back and let you know."

Naruto nodded gratefully. "We appreciate it, Yoichi-san."

This trip had yielded far greater results than either of them had expected. Naruto could once again use Truth-Seeking Orbs and Six Paths Sage Mode, and Sasuke felt confident he could utilize Indra's Susanoo once more.

Their strength was now at its absolute peak.

Hokage's Office

Back at the Hokage's office, Shikamaru immediately stepped forward and asked, "Naruto, how are you feeling? No side effects?"

"None at all! Other than during the war, I've never felt this strong. I could even restore my right arm now… I just need to remove the Hashirama Cell arm first."

Naruto looked at his arm with a nostalgic expression. He felt like he was back in his prime—like he could accomplish anything.

Then, he turned to Sasuke. "Sasuke, I can restore your arm too."

"No need."

"You've been saying that as a form of atonement, but you don't have to anymore."

"It's not about atonement. I just don't see a need for it."

Naruto, however, ignored Sasuke's reluctance. He placed a hand on Sasuke's shoulder, and immediately, Sasuke felt an intense warmth and tingling sensation where his left arm had been severed.

Cells multiplied, tissues regenerated, and bone formed rapidly under the influence of Naruto's Yang Release chakra.

Before the astonished onlookers, Sasuke's left arm fully regrew. Though it appeared slightly pale and soft, resembling that of a newborn, a bit of training would soon restore it to full functionality.

Seeing this, Naruto grinned. "Just as I thought! This means we can also restore Guy-sensei's leg!"

Sasuke examined his newly grown arm and let out a rare smirk. "…Thanks."

"Haha! It's all thanks to Yoichi-san. Without his help, I wouldn't have gained this power. Even Kurama got knocked out from absorbing all that chakra! And of course, thanks to you too, Ino, for bringing me this information."

Naruto scratched his head, then his expression turned serious as he addressed the room.

"Now, the next step is to track down the Kara members and those two who stole the Ten-Tails. We don't know where they are yet, but—"

"We'll increase our patrols. The other villages are also actively searching for them," Shikamaru interjected.

"Kara isn't without leads. I've already uncovered some information. And now that they've lost the Ten-Tails, they should be getting desperate."

Sasuke hadn't even finished speaking when his expression suddenly darkened.

Not just him—Naruto also tensed. Ino's voice echoed in their minds through the Mind Body Transmission Jutsu.

"Naruto! Something's wrong! A powerful unknown chakra has infiltrated Konoha and is moving rapidly toward the prison!"

"The prison… Damn it! It must be Kara!"

Naruto's expression changed. There weren't many high-profile prisoners locked up in the village jail, except for—

"Victor and Deepa! They're after them!"

Sasuke immediately took off, and Naruto followed right behind him.

By the time they reached Konoha's prison, the battle had already begun. The gates had been completely blown apart, and injured Konoha shinobi lay scattered around the entrance.

"Seventh… Hokage…"

One of the wounded guards struggled to his feet upon seeing Naruto, weakly pointing toward the prison. "They… They've already gone inside…"

Naruto rushed forward to support the injured shinobi. "Hang in there! Medical-nin are on the way!"

Meanwhile, Sasuke stepped forward. "How many enemies? What are their abilities?"

"Two of them…"

With those final words, the guard lost consciousness.

Seeing this, Sasuke turned to Naruto. "Naruto, leave the aftermath to Shikamaru. You and I will handle the intruders."

"Got it!"

With that, the two dashed into the depths of the prison, racing toward the high-security cells where Victor was being held.

They arrived just in time.

In front of them, two intruders had already dragged Victor out of his cell. The elderly man, realizing what was happening, began to panic.

Upon seeing Naruto, Victor's eyes widened in relief, as if he had just seen a savior.

"Hokage! Save me! Please, help me!"

Victor wasn't stupid. The worst he faced in Konoha was endless interrogation. But if he fell back into Kara's hands, death would be a luxury compared to what awaited him.
