Bonding

I escorted Adam back to his room, but only until outside his room. I didn't expect his room to be this small. Even the storage room in my house is bigger than this. "You know this room is small, why are you both squeezing yourselves in here?" I expressed.

"Hey, don't you two have anything else to do?"

"Huh?"

Sigh. Since Lock and Hans got to know Adam, they've been hanging out with him more often. "Help me go buy some coffee. Anything, as long as it's Sturbeck coffee."

"Why don't you just order food? It's easier," Lock protested. I just looked at him with a puzzled expression. Look at the cramped situation in this room, both of you have already crowded this space.

"I gave you the card, you promised to buy Sturbeck coffee at the shop next to this town's market, with a limit of 1500 dollar," I intentionally told him to buy coffee from a faraway place.

"Seriously, can I buy anything?"

I nodded and then pushed them out the door. Adam returned from the convenience store, carrying a plastic bag filled with instant noodles. "Where do you guys want to go?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Zayn asked us to order Sturbeck coffee," Lock replied. Hans didn't say much, he just nodded from behind.

"I bought samjang noodles, we can eat together later, alright?"

"Just the two of you eat, Zayn gave his card for us to treat you. You guys have your date," I said.

Adam was speechless. My face showed no reaction; I knew both of them liked teasing people. Adam shifted his gaze away from me. "What flavor did you buy?" I asked to break this awkwardness.

"Spicy cheese."

I nodded, indicating that I was okay with the flavor he chose. Without Hans and Lock for a few hours, maybe they would finish shopping in the evening. Although they came from affluent families, their spending was limited.

My father is a CEO in an STA company, one of the giant companies in this country; it has 25 subsidiaries, and one of the largest subsidiaries is managed by my mother herself. Our family is entrepreneurs in the logistic industry, fashion design, cosmetics, and hospitality.

My parents are always not at home, due to business abroad. So they send quite a sum of money for me to spend.

After cooking the instant noodles, Adam and I enjoyed our meal, with just sunny-side-up eggs and sliced green onions as garnish on top of the instant noodles.

"What are you doing next week?" I tried to break the silence.

"Nothing much," he answered briefly.

It means he has free time next week.

My phone vibrate. I receive text notification. "-Are you free next week? Can you go with me to pick up my new handbag?"

It was my girlfriend.
