Wedding Day, Part 2

Shayla

The laughter of the evening echoed gently around the warmly lit sitting room, which Bella had effortlessly transformed into our own private haven. Fairy lights sparkled softly against gauzy curtains, while plush pillows and soft music created an atmosphere that was both cozy and inviting. Chris and I agreed the typical bachelor and bachelorette parties werent our style, and something intimate and small was more our speed. Sitting beside me, Bella raised her glass, nudging me gently. "Alright, bride-to-be, let's make a toast."

My cousins Jenny and Sandra, both in their late twenties and as close as sisters, leaned forward eagerly, lifting their glasses with amused grins. I had always been very close to them but when i got married before we moved and life just got busy and we lost touch. I'm so glad they didnt hold it against me but thats why we were so close before, they understood things in a way that always surprised me.
