In my first apocalypse, I overlooked the creeping signs of doom until overrun by zombies in my flat, where I perished in sheer terror.

The second attempt to alert others of the impending chaos fell on deaf ears; labelled a lunatic, I fled the city, only to succumb to starvation and exposure alone in the wild.

By the third go, I sought safety in wealth, collecting vast supplies, yet fell victim to a brutal gang.

Now, understanding the key—precise foresight, survival skills, strict secrecy, and solitude—I see the purpose in reliving this collapse. This time, failure is not an option. This time, I will survive and outlive the apocalypse.

My Last Apocalypse

I carefully turn the cover of the notebook to reveal that it is not filled with notes or records as I had expected, but contains a single letter. The letter is written in English, and interestingly, there is a Korean translation provided beside it, ensuring that whoever found this could understand its contents regardless of their language proficiency.

The presence of both translations implies the importance of the information, likely intended to reach as wide an audience as possible within the confines of those involved in the Project Echelon or affected by it. My hands tremble slightly as I prepare to read, aware that the contents of this letter could hold significant revelations about the project, the government's experiments, or perhaps even clues about the nature of the black-eyed infected.
