But They Must Sperate Eventually

"Let's g-go seal a god!" Hræsvelgr yelled as she took a deep breath and charged flew at high speeds towards the centre of Desire's. As they looked around, they saw that most of it had been abandoned, the ground being covered in the glitching ink. 

They soon saw Peni sitting a top a pile of cards, with the queen of the deck holding two cards. Panila as the queen of Hearts and Rat as The Jester card. She noticed the two immediately, throwing a card at them that exploded into ink. 

They barely dodged before flying straight for Peni. "Ha. Finally, you came." She cackeld, her voice distorting as she threw more cards. Hræsvelgr weaved in between, throwing feathers back at high speeds, each feather was as heavy and as powerful as an anti tank round. 

Peni laughed, fading into the ink before emerging as a gigantic, broken mess that looked like the shadow of Avette. She began swatting at her, before laughing. Hræsvelgr threw more feathers as she circled around like an airplane in a dog fight. 

Peni laughed and pointed up, unleashing her ink as a rain. The bullets rained down like mad, with Hræsvelgr not being able to dodge from the sheer quantity of droplets. Each hit felt like a piercing burning sensation, but thanks to Avis's new Phoenix regeneration, they could tank the pain. 

"Oh HOW FUN!" 

Peni cackled, aiming her fingers like a gun and firing at them wildly and blindly, she was like a child playing made believe. She began laughing more and more, distracting them with meaningless attacks before surprising them by making her arm into a blade, slicing her in half.

Avis and Ami began having to fly with their own wings, now on a time limit for their strength, having to throw the sub-minds between each other before the other changed back. 

"OPEN YOUR EYES. YOU CAN'T WIN." 

Peni laughed as the two were making minimal damage to her body. They continued weaving in and out of attacks, being in synch as best they could. Though eventually, time ran out as they both had to land on a roof top, where Peni followed, appearing more human sized. 

"Shit... We... Need something!" Avis said with a few panted breaths from exhaustion. Ami got an idea and secretly took Tophina's heart. "I-I-I give up... J-J-Just d-d-don't k-kill A-Avis..." 

"FINALLY... SOMETHING REASONABLE." Peni cackled, darting over to Ami and forcing her inky body inside, taking control. Avis looked horrified, she barely had any time to even comprehend what had happened. "G-G-Give her b-back!" She yelled, throwing more feathers as She clutched Devouring's Sub-Mind, empowering herself as much as she reasonably could.

Peni just laughed though, instead shrugging off every piece of damage. "You really think you can stop me?" She said through Ami's voice, walking over to Avis with a cold grin going for Panila's card. "Come on. You're n-n-n-n-n-n-" 

Peni looked down, realising she had been impaled by chains. Even Avis looked confused before realising that Ami had used the transmutation ability to revert Panila back, though she looked a bit more fleshy and put together then usual. 

"Your services are not required... Auntie." She said before lifting her up a bit bangs , revealing all two of her crimson eyes, using her pinnacle ability; "Shining Cell!" 

Panila summoned a small, keychain sized cell and before Peni could go in for an attack, Panila forced her inside, trapping the eldritch Entity inside and cutting off any power she had. Avis looked stunned, not knowing what to say. But before she could even say anything, Panila used Tophina's sub-mind to repair her form back to how it should look. 

"Bird... If it wasn't for you, Pandora's Tears would be this child's plaything. Do know... I will eventually get rid of Peni from Ami's body, but until that time comes... She will remain under my care. Now... it seems everything is beginning to clear up. I suggest you leave before I decide you deserve the same fate." 

Panila was right, all of the inky glitchy substance was already clearing up and all Avis had right now was two sub-minds. Avis decided to fly at full speed in her phoenix form, snatching Tophina's sub-mind back and beginning to fly off. Panila laughed before aiming her fingers delicately, ready to end her. 

"No... She'll be back. She'll want the Rabbit... I'll just reclaim what's mine when I want... AS for you, Peni..." She held the cell up to her face with a cruel grin, all five of her eyes glowing bright red. "You will feel pain for the second time in your miserable little life." She cackled, violently shaking the cage before leaving.

Avis flew back to Biz's Mansion, exhausted as Day broke once more in the Underbelly. She fell to the floor exhausted, the physical strain of using so many sub-minds had finally got to her. Tika sighed, noticing Ami wasn't with her and assuming the worse. She scooped Avis up over her shoulder and placed her in a bed, letting her rest.
