The Few Steps Lead To A...

Avis stepped through the portal, arriving in a long black and red ornate hallway with multiple chained doors, each coloured differently. Multiple pictures and decorations were on the wall of Panila's many triumphs. It seemed that this was were she kept her closest prisoners, with a looming black and white door at the end, presumably the one leading to Panila's office. Zamtika arrived shortly after, rather surprised at how nice the hall was.

"Damn. Who'da thought The Warden had a good sense of decoration?" Tika playfully joked as she walked through the hall with Avis. Avis couldn't help but look at a few pictures as Tika began looking through the peep holes of the doors.

She looked at the first picture containing Panila standing menacingly with hundreds of chains behind her coming from a red portal. Avis read the title of the piece, named "Arrival".

She went on the second piece that just had three stripes of white, black and red, titled "Family". It confused her a bit, but thought nothing off it. Tika quickly motioned for Avis to peek through the peep hole with a stunned look. "You're gonna wanna see this."

Avis nervously walked over and took a peeked through the bright pink chained door with a spider symbol on it, seeing Arachne in her monster like form, sitting alone in what looked like the room of an overzealous Idol fan. "W-Woah..." Avis muttered before Arachne's head twitched, seeming to be aware of their presence. "Are you... Here to give me Senshi?" She asked flatly, though still not turning around.

She quickly covered the peep hole and walked away. "Let's... Not bother her." Tika shrugged and went to the next door, a split Purple and Black door with a candy piece with antlers. She looked through to see a display case containing the gummified Tophina, though it seemed they were still alive, as they walked around their case, not seeming aware of their surroundings. 

"Gross..." Tika mumbled as she saw another decorative piece of Panila's life. It was a picture of who looked to be Panila with a teenager wearing a red beanie with small red ram horns poking through. Both girls had their eyes covered by their bangs, yet they both seemed happy. Tika looked at the title of the piece, named "My Kin".

Avis walked over and looked at the photo with a stunned look, muttering under her breath. "Does that mean..."

"Panila had a kid." Tika sighed, though Avis figured it made sense considering Ami's comment at the Memorial. The two continued on to the next door, a pitch black door that seemed to be leaking the glitchy substance from before. Both of them figured out who was behind that door and decided not to even try and look through.

They moved on to the next one, seeing that it wasn't chained up. It had a moon symbol on it and when they peaked through the door to see it was an empty repair station. Tika assumed it was for Cheshire, mumbling to Avis about how Panila had a bizarre fondness for the android.

Avis went off to the next door, another unchained one with three different hound heads, and before she could peek through, Tika stopped her. "I reckon that's Strike Team Cerbi's room. Not what we're looking for." 

"Yeah." Avis shrugged, going over to the last door, a light blue chained one with a symbol of flowing water. Tika opened the peep hole to see Ven, slumped over. She turned to Avis with a grin. "We found the bastard!" She said with a slight laugh, using the slight glimpse through to open a portal through the door.

The two quickly entered and rushed to Ven. "Wake up, Rabbit!" Tika said with a laugh, shaking his cold shoulder. He slumped backwards, revealing that he was dead dead, with Tid-Bit's heart not in his chest. The two began scrambling around the rather quaint room, searching to see if Panila had left Bit. As they searched, Tika found a dismantled and broken Heartbreaker that she reluctantly pocketed. 

"Damn it, she's not here." Tika yelled kicking a chair before scooping Ven's body up. "Let's just go." Tika growled, pulling out her phone and calling Vex to pull up to the window. Avis began trying to calm her down, only to here an electronic giggle.

"You hear that?"

"Hear what?"

Avis looked around, following the laughter to Panila's door. "Back in a second." She mumbled as Tika was on the phone. Avis stepped out and slowly opened Panila's door, seeing Tid-Bit chained up in front of Panila's desk. She motioned to Avis to grab her heart, which was left on the desk next to a hot cup of coffee.

Avis slowly crept into the room, before noticing the turned away chair behind the desk. "Where is the Rat?" A cold voice yelled in fury, Avis quickly realised Panila was staring out the window, failing to notice her obvious presence as she slowly crept over.

"What do you mean missing!? I want her in my office! Bite, get your ass out there and find her!" She yelled before hanging up. She let out an exhausted sigh and turned to grab her coffee, taking a deep sip before noticing her door swinging shut. She seemed confused before realising The Sub-Mind was gone.

"You FUCKING RODENT!" She yelled out, shooting out from behind her desk.

Zamtika was stood at the end of the hall with Ven over her shoulder, the limo hovering as she chucked his body inside. She was stepping in when she turned back to see Avis bolting for her life down the hall way, yelling in fear; "Run! Fuuucking ruuun!" Tika looked behind Avis to see a swirling mass of chains barrelling towards her. Avis let out a squawk of panic as she quickly realised how screwed everyone would be if they were caught

"Go to a lower floor, I'll meet you there!"

Panila quickly summoned chains, blocking the window.

Tika looked hesitant before yelling at Vex to go down a few levels. "I'll break open an opening for you, just escape Panila!" She yelled to Avis as they began to swing the Limo around. 

Avis ran down some stairs before tripping and tumbling into the main halls of Detainment, seeing the hundreds and hundreds of cells in front of her. The lights suddenly went out as a single light shined on a canopy above Avis, Panila standing their calmly.

"Hello, Harpy."
