The two played rock, paper scissors to decide who had to open the elevator door as it shifted into a black, chained door that Nvr had to reluctantly open as she lost their game. She opened the door to a curious sight for Ven.
The two stepped inside to find themselves in Pandæmonium's chamber, looking less dark and gloomy then when Ven first visited the lab. The two began looking around to find nothing of note, but Nvr seemed to notice that Ven looked slightly tense.
"What's up, Rabbit? You been here before?"
"Yeah... And down that hole is the one thing I never want to meet again. Eden." He said as he pointed down at the centre of the room. But as he did, a younger version of Panila entered the chamber. She wore a less chained up version of her suit, and having her hair down in its entirety.
"Oh Mollia's bloody name!" Ven yelled as Panila pressed a button, opening up the floor to reveal Eden's robotic frame barely able to move from its extensive damage. It only had one heart left, beating at its core.
"Is that Eden?" Nvr asked as Ven nodded slightly.
"Yep."
"Since this is a memory, what ever did happen to the original Eden?"
"I stole it... Before Rat took it after I got captured."
"That's good? Or bad?"
"A bit in between." He shrugged as he clutched his gun-blade, feeling slightly tense as he saw the mechanical menace of his past speak with Panila. "I guess we just sit and watch..." He grumbled as the two watched Panila step before the robotic frame.
Eden looked at Panila with a curious, warm smile. "I am Eden. Pleasure to meet you, Demon. What is your name?"
Panila adjusted Eden's light green hair with a somber smile. "Do you not remember your past... Eden?" She asked with an almost saddened tone. Eden gave a curious smile as she let out a light laugh. "All those files are restricted to [Classified]. Only [Classified] may know that. Now... Miss, are you ready for your ascension?"
Eden began trying to use her tendrils, but her last sub-mind was almost out of power, leaving her essentially powerless. She let out a sigh as she stared at Eden with a hint of sadness to her. "May I have your name, Miss?"
"Call me Pandæmonium... Dear. Your New Warden." Panila answered before wrapping her fingers around Eden's remaining heart. "What a curious name. It suits you." Eden smiled before powering off as Panila yanked the heart from her chest.
Eden soon fell limp with a thud. Panila let out a sigh of slight regret as she stared at the last heart. "What do I do with you..."
As Panila began to think of what to do with the drained sub-mind, a familiar rat tail poked through the door to the chamber. "Yo, Boss. What's up?" Rat asked as she casually strolled into the lab with a bored look on her face, not looking any different from the present day.
"Rat... And what do I owe the pleasure?" Panila asked with a sigh, turning to her first servant with a bored look. "Nothin'. Just heard from the guards ya was down here and figured you'd be doing something fun."
Panila let out a slight smirk before flicking Rat's ear. "You never know when to bug off, rodent. But, I do have something I want you to do today." She sighed and handed the heart over to Rat. "Get rid of this in anyway you please."
"Does it-"
"No. It's out of power. It is useless." Panila interjected, pressing the button to lower Eden back to the ground as she went to leave. Rat sighed and waited for the warden to leave before calmly lighting up a cigarette. She took one drag before smirking and waving in the direction of Ven and Nvr.
"I see you."
Ven and Nvr froze up, before being pulled backwards by something and dragged into the ruins of Lilian Gate Labs and seeing Rat casually strolling over to Ven's dead body. "What the hell?" Ven mumbled as he saw Rat place the sub-mind in his chest and hooking him up to a power cord.
Nvr looked around the room, noticing how recent the destruction looked. "How old is this memory?" She mused to herself as Ven watched Rat finish up her work.
"You're my ticket out of this dump, weird heart thing!" Rat laughed to herself before walking around the room and stumbling over to a ruined large monitor. She began getting curious over the information contained on it.
"Hmm... What if I do... This." Rat kicked the monitor, surprisingly turning it on. She laughed to herself about her own genius and began going through the files of the computer. Her face went from smugness to a slow realisation of shock when she began going through the computer.
"That... That can't be right? How... How many times?"
Whatever Rat found seemed to genuinely scare her as she ran off, leaving the sub-mind to charge for its remaining years.
Ven tried to make out what the screen said, but it was obscured by a glitching effect. "Iz someone trying to figurez outz what Ratz found?" A familiar electronic cackle said before appearing on top of the monitor with his signature smile.
"Oh Mollia." Ven grumbled as he locked eyes on Cheshire. "Wellz Iz that allz you wantz to say? I told youz how you camez to be! Panilaz would be mad... But you need to knowz..." His smile faltered slightly as he teleported down to the two.
"What do you mean?" Nvr asked as she glanced at the cat.
"Someonez locked mez in my own tower... Iz not in control."
The two looked confused before Nvr seemed realise what must be happening. "I think... This might be my fault." She said with a sheepish laugh as she pulled out a small wooden box. "What's that?" Ven questioned.
"The 8th heart of Eden..." She mumbled. Cheshire's smile broke, instead replaced by a cruel look. "Youz brought that... Here? Do youz know whoz heart that iz? Do youz knowz what ruin you have brought with youz!? ARE YOUZ STUPIDZ!?"
Ven was still overall stunned that Eden even had an 8th heart, but he put together that Eden was incomplete when they first fought. But he knew he had to ask; "Who's heart is it?"
Suddenly the three were thrown into an elevator by an unknown force. Their was only one button this time, Ven was stunned as he read the name outload, looking to Nvr just to conform his suspicion.
"Oh... Mollia. It's Mollia Chordarum's fucking heart, isn't it?"
