Everyone had their weapons readied at Rat, who was laughing like a mad woman. "W-Why the hell did you k-kill Ven?" Tika yelled in a trembling fury, cocking her gun-lance. Avis and Vinea went in for a quick attack, vines and feathers shooting towards her, which she easily slice away.
"Come on? Do you guys not know how these stories work? There is always a betrayal at end." She smirked, passing the sub-minds to Iyu as she began scrounging around her snow globe for something. "Iyu... What is the protocol?" Nvr asked.
"Oh... Well, your services are no longer required in this, so please do as you want." She said with a smile. Nvr gave a nod and stood with everyone else, raising her fists as she readied to fight.
"W-W-What is the end goal in all t-this?" Avis asked as Rat pulled something out.
"Well harpy. I only just remembered, thanks to daughter playing mother over there. I'm going to... Uh... Well, I actually still have no idea. But all I know is, I wanted Eden, and needed all the sub-minds for it. So... Yeah." Rat gave a playful shrug as she tossed the limp robotic remains of Eden onto the floor.
Everyone looked stunned, but Zamtika seemed more furious. She went to attack, slicing at Rat, only for her to dodge effortlessly. "Come on. I just want to fulfil whatever my life's purpose is. It isn't to much to ask. And hey, I did say I'd get you guys your happiest endings. Just relax." She seemed to be genuine in her words, yet they all knew that whatever she wanted to do would probably end the world again.
Rat turned to Pandæmonium with a playful smile as Iyu began unzipping herself. "So. What exactly was my plan, boss? I know most of it... But not the ending. Could ya tell me?"
Pandæmonium didn't even hesitate, quickly summoning her chains and ripping her arm off with little effort. Rat looked slightly surprised from the sneak attack. She let out a bored sigh and used Mollia's heart, rewinding her arm back on.
"Not exactly a good move, girl." Rat laughed as kicked Pandæmonium out of the broken window, sending her falling below. Everyone looked shocked, quickly all trying to charge her at once. But Rat just rolled her eyes and activated the heart again, rewinding them back to before they even tried to attack.
"Iyu... If you would."
Iyu gave a pleasant smile and pulled out both Parfait and Penumbra Ami from her zipper, both falling to the floor. She used her tentacles to hold the two in place before calmly putting all 7 hearts into Eden.
"Let the Divine Comedy Begin!"
Everyone stared in shock, surprise or fear as Eden's hearts began to beat. Tendrils began to form out of her back as she looked down at them all. The tendrils quickly shot into both Parfait and Penumbra's necks.
Rat gave Eden the order to fuse herself with the other two, which it quickly followed. It was like the world had been broken at that moment. As Eden activated one of its hearts, consuming them and fusing them into their body.
Eden fell limp as it began shifting its form. A black ink leaked from its body as a radiant halo formed above its head. Eden looked like a cruel angel, a broken thing that shouldn't exist. Rat began to laugh as she stared at her former friends.
"I guess I should give this cutie a name... How about Pandora? Yeah. Pandora works." She shrugged, as Pandora gave a nod at its new name, speaking in a broken, yet still understandable voice; "What do you wish of me, Master?"
Rat gave a dismissive wave as she handed her snow globe over. "I want to travel to other worlds. So use the Spire Of Stars to do so."
Pandora gave a nod as it began floating out towards the city. Avis tried to throw one of her Feathers in a futile attempt to try and attack, but was quickly rewound by Rat.
Once Pandora reached the central plaza, she dropped the snow globe and pointed a finger at it as it fell, firing a thin beam of light. In an instant, a gigantic spire sprouted fourth like a tree, breaking through the Underbelly's constructed sky and letting the real rising sun break through into the underground.
Iyu smiled and began unzipping herself, readying to teleport Rat away. She gave a playful look back as she began stepping into Iyu. "Ya know what... If you think you can stop this... Come find me at the top of the spire. I'll be waiting for... Let's say 4 hours. Seeya!" She laughed before the two disappeared.
Everyone began to freak out, not knowing what to do at this point. Zamtika, Vex, Senshi and Arachne, Avis and Vinea checked on Ven as Grey, Uma and Tophina went to find Panila.
After a bit of time, everyone decided to retreat and meet at one of Biz's Mansion to discuss what they could do. Some had already gathered, the emotionally fragile Biz was already sat inside, drinking tea. Zamtika filled her in and her only reaction was... To laugh.
"Well then. It seems the world is truly done for. What a funny situation my mother has brought on us." She said with a snicker, as Grey, Uma and Tophina burst in with a wounded Panila. Nvr and Vinea were the closest thing they had to doctors, who began trying to treat her wounds while the rest discussed what to do.
"We could just go in and take her out?" Vex said as she held Chain-breaker, but was quickly shot down by Tika, who put the weapon back next to Ven's body. "We all saw what Mollia's heart can do. We can't beat a literal rewind."
"B-B-But what if w-w-we could?" Senshi mumbled, looking over to Ven. "T-Time a-and s-space are inherently linked, s-so theoretically his a-ability would be a perfect counter."
Zamtika let out a sigh as she looked at herself. "I could fight her... But just looking at her, she'd be way too fast. And I don't think Rat will play fair if it's not a one-on-one fight."
"Then... What if we decide to all go and attack her all at once, and try to get Tid-Bit back? We don't have to win, we just need Bit!" Avis said with a triumphant cheer. No one could really argue it, and so the plan was soon decided. They still had about 3 hours left, and if they were going to do this, they needed Panila.
After about 40 more minutes of waiting, Nvr and Vinea walked out with an uneasy looking Panila, who had healed surprisingly quickly. They decided to fill her in on their plan, which was met with a resounding; "Fine... This might be the end of the world. So I suppose I have to."
They all began getting ready for the assault on the tower but Vinea pointed out the window, telling everyone to look. Outside, it was like different realities were collapsing in with theirs. It wasn't just one world that was potentially in danger, it was multiple.
"Of course the rodent would do this..."
