[Doctors Orders]

Vinea had been trying to figure out how to connect with Lucy through mammy. He admittedly got a wave of nostalgia at having to run away from Apex. but with desperate slap of his vines and muttering of "Just work, just work, just work." A drunken visage of Lucy appeared on her chained throne.

"Hey, Lucy we need your help and-... Are you drunk?"

"Psht... No, I'm just not currently sober." 

"Oh Mollia damnit." Vinea groaned, throwing his vines in the air. "HEY! Don't say that bitch's name in front of me!"

"Look, as fun as this would be under normal circumstances, Apex is here!"

"Who?" Lucy asked, scratching her head with a chain as she began squirming around to get comfortable. As Vinea tried his best to remind Lucy who Apex was, the drunken demon couldn't really recall who the rampaging Decaynine was. 

But she figured that she'd probably need to help, yet she suddenly felt a surge of power from one of her contracts. Lucy's light concern was quickly washed away, knowing the situation was practically handled at this point. 

"J-Just give Nvr Mammy. Badda bing badda done." She laughed, going back to her bottle and hung up on him before he could yell for some actual help. With nothing else but the simple advice, Vinea rushed back into the room to see the glowing purple Nvr shove Apex away with a hard strike to the Decaynine's jaw. 

"Lucy said to give you this!" VInea yelled before tossing Mammy across the room and right into Nvr's glowing claws. The bio-weapon now had the chance she was looking for and activated her new ego on it. 

"[Doctor's Orders]" 

With a simple touch, the bat creature violently expanded and shifted into a more humanoid form that resembled Lucy in a more dramatic tv presenter attire. It was a bit of a bizarre transformation to be sure, yet Nvr already knew she barely understood this new power and hoped whatever this new creature could do was at least useful. 

As Apex staggered back on to her feet and snapping her jaw back into place, she laughed at the little bat that resembled her former warden. "What is that? A new meat shield? Ha..." 

But Mammy lifted her new white hair up to reveal a singular eye that focused on the now charging Apex. "I order you to stop."

Upon the command, Apex froze in place, standing straight like the loyal dog she was. "Bow." The little eye commanded, and so did the dog comply. Instantly bowing her head. It was a strange sight to see the violent beast be so obedient, and yet, Nvr couldn't help but feel a sense of understanding of her new power. 

It wasn't that she had the power to order Apex, far from it. Her new Ego, Doctor's Orders, was the ability to alter the very being of something. Much like Splice before her, she had come to understand that somethings should Never be... And yet, with this new power, she could grant those things.

And Mammy was a special case. Since the bat was a creature made of Lucy's own eye, she held dominion over anything that the Warden herself owned. And what better way to demonstrate that fact then by showing that she did in fact own Apex. 

With another order, Apex was forced into submission with little effort. It was a bit unsatisfying, yes. But Nvr glanced over to Grey with a creepy smile. 

"Would you like the honour of putting the hound back to sleep?"

Grey gave a gleeful thumbs up as his other hand shifted into a blade of flesh. As Apex was left on her hands and knees, practically on the executioners block. "You... You fucking DOG! I'll come back! I won't let my soul rest until you're fucking DEAD! YOU HEAR ME?! DEAD-" 

With a single swipe, Apex's skull hit the floor in a wet thud. Nvr quickly ripped Tika's heart from her body and, not wanting to risk it since Apex had a pension for coming back, used Ruptured Shambles on her body. Instantly, the Decaynine's remaining flesh exploded into spikes that dug into the cold floor underneath. 

"Let's go... This building is going to collapse any minute." Nvr sighed, picking up both Avis and Pit along with the monster hunter's lantern. Vinea turned back as both Grey and Nvr left and just to be extra sure that Apex wouldn't come back, he used his veins to drag her body underground. 

As the rest escaped from the castle, Grimm's body had just barely managed to free itself from its confines. Yet without a head, it was practically powerless. Stumbling around teh empty dungeon, she had luckily found a new head, though unpleasant and rotted, it had a coolness factor that she couldn't help but appreciate. 

The truly Headless Horsewoman put the Decayed wolf's skull on, and as it's eyes glowed a sickly green, she could feel the anger and hatred of whatever this thing was. 

But that wasn't important to her. What was, was the fact that she had just lived to tell a new tale. One that she'll have to report to Markeeth and the other member's of Team R.A.A.T. 

With the weight of everyone rushing out of the castle, the old bridge that held the path to the castle was about to collapse. With the rest of their stamina, they just barely managed to cross by the skin of their teeth. 

As everyone began to rest and catch their breath, Nvr soon realised that they wouldn't be getting picked up until the morning... And it was only 23:43 right now. 

Yet Vinea, with the power of believing in himself and the fact that their communication device known as mammy was now in fact sentient, they repeatedly tried again and again to call Lucy to come and pick them up.

But what they didn't know was that Lucy was fast asleep on her throne, having dozed off while counting the ever infinite stars to soothe herself. 

As morning rose, Nvr was kicked awake by a familiar blue scaled foot. "You look like shit." Kiola said with a smirk, helping her up. As everyone else began to stir awake, Kiola just felt the need to brag about how she saved them all. Explaining that after she found Lucy passed out on her throne, she figured that something might of happened. And so out of the kindness of her heart (bragging rights), she tracked them down.

While everyone was somewhat relived by Kiola's arrival, the dragon was a tad confused as to who Mammy was and why they had one of Midas's heroes with them. Through a rather lengthy and convoluted explanation of the nights events from Nvr, Vinea dumbed it down to;

"An old dog tried to kill us and Nvr can turn livings things into other things. We good?"

That seemed to satisfy her, and with a bit of mist and strength, Kiola flew them back to the ship. Letting Nvr, Grey, Vinea and Avis all finally chew out the hungover demon for her little hunting game.
