Do I Hear Wedding Bells?

"W-What do y-you think?" Ami delightfully smiled as she showed off her wedding dress to Lucy. In only a couple of hours, The 'princess' would be married off and with her new king and help keep the seal that bound The Queen Deep Beneath The Waves.

Though Lucy was less than interested, more so questioning her life choices. It wasn't like she could simply leave and never return or retire.

"Lucy!" Ami yelled to get her sort of friend's attention.

"D-Does this d-dress make me look cute?"

"You have the body of a mermaid warrior... So you choose to act like some sort of child playing pretend... Oh mother... I should have tried dating." The demon groaned, trailing her fingers over Parfait's halo for comfort.

"Hey! This is MY day. YOU WILL BEHAVE LIKE A GOOD CHILD, O DEMON MINE." The young mermaid's voice broke into a distorted mess, the lights in the bedroom flickering about wildly. But it still did little to dissuade Lucy from her sadness.

"I think your pet is having a mid life crisis, Your Majesty." Odyssey chimed in while tying up Dropllet's hair. "O-Oh... I-I hope she gets better..."

"Why are you talking like I'm not here? Am I truly so forgettable?" Lucy sighed, watching the two prepare. Despite Ami trying to be more forceful in her approach, it only served to make the demon feel... Well, feel.

Lucy had never been one to give into her more basic feelings, other then anger. Sadly, she had nothing to be angry about anymore, at least in her mind she didn't.

"Your Majesty, are you excited?" Odyssey asked, trying to draw attention away from the depressing demon who only seemed to sink lower in her despair with the lightest bit of attention. Ami on the other hand, was more giddy and excitable then ever.

Despite how fast things were moving, this was going to be her day. "You know the world is ending in less than five days, right?" The demon yelled from the bed, but with a quick silence motion with her hand, Ami sealed Lucy's mouth shut for a bit with a bit of Ego magic.

As the demon laid silent, listening in on Ami discussing all her plans for her future, she decided to go and to the ceremony site to wait out the few hours that remained and maybe check to see what was actually there.

Once Lucy had made her way out of the city, it was only a small swim deeper before she found herself outside the ruins of what seemed to be an old monastery. Just above the mangy, desolate ruins was an orb of pulsing dark blue energy that crackled lightly with every second.

It was quite obvious to the warden it was the seal. A seal that was old and weathered. A seal that she could break even in her current state.

"Who ever designed this clearly doesn't know how to bind a god..." She mused to herself, getting closer and trailing a small tentacle over it. Suddenly, she was struck by a force of what felt like electricity.

"I did think it was bizarre that Dropllet got a new pet so quickly." Tiri called out from behind with a scowl on her face. "What are you doing here?" The queen questioned as she clutched a golden trident, holding it to Lucy's back.

With a melancholic sigh, the demon answered with; "I was just making sure master would have a wonderful wedding... In the few hours she's known her soon to be husband."

Tiri could only scoff at the claim, sending another piercing bolt of lighting into Lucy's back. The demon wasn't in the mood to even fight back, instead taking the attacks head on without any resistance.

As if preparing a killing blow, The Queen raised the trident above her head with a cold look. "I'll offer this once. Return to whatever hole you crawled out of."

A silence fell over them, only the pulsating crackle of the orb could be heard as the Queen stared down at her daughter's pet. The demon let out a sigh and as the bubbles travelled up out of the abyss, Lucy swam away.

Tiri felt proud of herself while swimming inside of the Monastery to check on the progress of the wedding. Only a few hours remained before The Marriage between Dropllet and Tuli, or in other words, The marriage between two vessels of gods.

Once The Queen was out of sigh, Lucy swam behind the orb and began working her magic. In her mind, it was best to just leave the question of what would happen if two vessels tried to break the seal instead of what was prophesied up to the imagination.

The miniature leviathan trailed her fingers across the orb once more, slowly unravelling the magic that kept the deep at bay. Yet she failed to account for her own weakened state as she created a small hole that contained Everything.

Not Everything in a normal sense. But the concept of everything itself and the knowledge that it contained.

It was a single second that she realised her own mistake before a blinding flash overtook her.

"But then again... D-Do you t-t-think I actually look good?" Ami questioned to Odyssey, who simply nodded with a knowing grin. "Just walk down the aisle, Your Majesty." The Siren motioned to the doors that stood between Ami and her dream.

The hours felt like they already flew by for the 'princess' and she had just arrived at the Monastery with 14 guards and Head Maid in tow. All of the guests had arrived and had taken their seats, even the king and Queen were in attendance. All they needed now was the bride and groom.

The sound of excited murmurs could be heard through the door, even the faint light of cameras were visible through the small crack in the door. Ami felt herself getting anxious, but Odyssey gave her some reassuring words.

"You are 'The Princess'. You can get married and fulfil your destiny. This is your moment!"

"Okay. Life is w-w-what you make of it!" Ami muttered to herself before shoving the doors open to see...

No one.

Not a single person was there. Despite the sounds that filled the great hall only moments ago, everything was dead silent. All of the guards escorting Ami were on alert, slowly searching around the room as the faint buzz of the cameras shutting off was heard.

Suddenly the stage lights that were made the rather ominous place look actually warm and comforting vanished. Only the faint blue glow of the orb that loomed above provided any sort of lighting.

Quickly, Lucy rushed into the room. "WHERE WERE YOU TWO!?" She yelled, slamming her tentacles down in frustration as she came out of the shadows. "Y-You knew w-we were at the palace." Ami answered with a scowl while the 11 guards continued searching around the room.

"I... Suppoze that explains it." The demon grumbled, crossing her arms with a sigh. As everyone remained on guard of what was going on, Odyssey looked up at the orb and noticed that it looked a bit dimmer than the last time she was there.

But something didn't sit right with The Siren. "How did we get here? I... I don't remember even taking a carriage or anything?"

"Hmm... Strange. I don't even remembers coming here either." Lucy said with a curious look, her head looking between the guard and Dropllet.

Ami was growing rather suspicious of the situation as well. The 'Princess' reached into her bag and found it empty. "I never had this bag in t-the first place... E-Even still, it c-contained a special coin... If t-that's not here then..."

"A dream? Well, that seems a bit far fetched, Dear." Lucy answered.

"How d-did you know w-w-what I was going to say?" Ami and Odyssey slowly backed away as the shadow behind Lucy slowly faded, revealing puppet strings attached to the demonic fish's body. An unexpected laugh suddenly rung in the two's ears as the Lucy puppet became more wooden and rigid.

"I'm sorryz, I'm Sorryz. I guezz you'z is a bit sharper than I gavez youz credit for, Ami." A woman called out from above while floating down with a playful attitude.

Her hair was a golden amber with a constantly shifting hue of deep blue with little stars seeming to drift between the strands. Two striking blue eyes stared down at them with a sharp toothed grin. The woman was rather chipper, skipping the rest of the way down, though holding her cute blue and red chained apron dress.

With a playful twirl, she suddenly appeared behind the two. Multiple white, rune carved cubes floated around her rear like a cat's tail that swayed side to side. "Myz, Myz... You twoz is a bitz outta the loopz. So how about youz ask a question and I'll answer it!"

She was rather child like in her mannerisms, constantly spinning around the room. Odyssey was the first to ask a question. The most obvious one.

"You stole my power, didn't you?"

The childish human turned back with a shrug. "I didn't meanz to. I gotz curious about the orb... Then,"

*WHAP*

*BAM*

*POW*

It was like explosions as the words suddenly shot at the two like a comic book. "I becamez a god. More of a god then you twoz..." She smirked, her tail flicking side to side before the cubes circled around Ami. "Yourz turn for a question."

It took the mermaid a bit of time to finally think up a question before finally settling on one. "You a-a-are Lucy still, right?"

That only seemed to annoy the woman, who began teleporting around in a similarly glitchy manner to Ami's own void teleportation. "Wrongz, wrongz, wrongz!" She screeched, the room suddenly shaking before the two were sent flying back through the doors and found themselves back in Dropllet's room.

"This ain't good." Odyssey mumbled, covering herself with her wings in a panic. Ami on the other hand, scrambled to check her bag, finding the coin that was her actual body. "W-W-What was that?" The mermaid questioned but was suddenly sent falling forward as the building began to shake.

"Lucy may or may not know quite literally everything in the universe and gone mad..."

"S-She fucking what!?" Ami screamed, quickly clutching her coin as the two suddenly glitched just outside the spire, they realised that it wasn't actually just the tower moving, but rather the entire city of Atlantis was being dragged out of place by gigantic chains.

"I CAN END THE RODENT! HOW DID I NOT SEE IT BEFORE?! I CAN RECLAIM ALL I LOST!" A mad cackle filled their ears as the gargantuan sight of Lucifer's leviathan form, more burnt and Acidic looking then usual, swimming upwards towards the land above, using her chains to drag the city with her.

"No... T-That's not r-right..."

"I know! THAT'S MY POWER SHE'S USING!" Odyssey screeched, a bit of the inky void dripping from her mouth in her fury. "N-No, t-that's not what I mean..." Ami grumbled, clutching the coin and teleporting them to the opposite side of the city in a glitchy instant. The two now stood on the border to the outside, eyes locked on the Leviathan.

Ami then pointed to what looked like a figure riding on her back.

"W-Whatever t-the leviathan is, it I-Isn't Lucy... S-She's the woman on its back!"

"Great... Any ideas, Penumbra?"

Ami tensed up a bit, quickly scrambling to keep her composure. "H-How did you know?"

"Come on, Master. You taught me possession in the first place. Why don't you drop the innocent girl act and actually try and stop your niece?" Odyssey sighed. The two were now faced with the power of a crazed Demon who quite literally knew how to do anything.

It was a big undertaking after all... I do hope it is at least entertaining.
