"While the thing wearing #####'s face was quite rude for interrupting, she was right. It wasn't like The author had actually planned any of this. She had instead opted to be more spontaneous with her story, but just like last time, she had vastly overestimated her skills.
Even still, two beings older then time would have a trick or two up their sleeves and it wasn't like I couldz just do this.
*SNAP*
But nothing happened."
Ami and Odyssey stood on a beach, in the far distance was the gigantic burnt leviathan dragging Atlantis behind it with chains bound to its body. Yet... Thiz makez no sense!? Hang on, hang on... Doo, doo, doo.
As the two waited- Wait, woah, woah, woah, you can't be here!
I don't apply to the rules. Pass me the computer.
What? Do one, you're ruining this-
Trainwreckz of a story? Eh, you ruined it yourself...zzz.
Harsh.
Okay... Wait, so theyz did get sentz to the void, but it they just... Rewrote it? That's bullshiz!
You're meant to be asleep. Just... Let me finish.
Finez, finez... But I'll make up stuff to, you know. You... Awful writer.
Whatever. Back to the story.
As the two watched from the distance, Ami began rewriting fate again.
"Ami and Odyssey stood on a beach, in the far distance was the gigantic burnt leviathan dragging Atlantis behind it with chains bound to its body. Yet... as it approached, it was suddenly halted in its tracks by a tentacle made of water. It thrashed against the chains, easily breaking them. The city began to sink back into place and- It was allz for naught, as my chains quickly reattached themselves. My leviathan, suddenly unleashed a devastating attack and destroyed the tentacle with ease."
The two stared at the page with stunned silence. Whatever Lucy was, it seemed she was even able to rewrite a rewriting... Seriously?
What? The peoplez like meta stuffz.
But it's a complete-
Ennuiara gets to do it all the timez. I think it's only fair.
YOU'RE NOT DEADPOOL!
The hellz a deadpool?
Oh, screw you. You know what, since we're doing meta. I'll just do this...
Suddenly, it appeared in Odyssey's mind. An answer to this trouble. She snatched away the book and continued the story.
My leviathan, suddenly unleashed a devastating attack and destroyed the tentacle with ease.
But as if by a miracle, Ami and Odyssey called out the being's true name to inturupt her charge as she laid lounging asleep on the beast's back.
"To The woman of my Power, The Beast of Infinite Knowledge, I give you a name. One of your past. You are Alice Vincula, The Sloth of Knowing." But... I-I... What... W-Why can't I move that speech mark?? Move youz stupid thing! No... Wait, what have youz done? Let me outz! This is a cop out! A bad narrative! A... A... ONE STAR WEBNOVEL PIECE OF SHI-"
Everything seemed to freeze in place. Like they had practically fixed it all. Maybe someone had gotten lazy and didn't know how to finish the arc? Or maybe the heroes did it. Buuut... Just to be sure...
A white gloved hand suddenly appeared in front of the two and snatched the book. The two didn't see any issue with this, since it seemed what ever it was, was trying to help.
The hand grabbed an eraser and began got rid of out the last few chapters until it reached [Sleeping In The Cold Below].
[Lucy swam deeper and deeper into the murky depths of the ocean, having tied Parfait's halo to her hair to act as a light source in the growing darkness of the sea. Though Ami couldn't help but think Lucy resembled one of those angler fish she read about in school, granted she'd only ever seen most kinds of fish in books.
"So... H-How h-have you been?" The little oracle asked as she delightfully twirled around in the bubble of air that floated just beside the leviathan. "Just great." Lucy responded rather flatly as she swam pass a school of fish.
As the two swam, a young Siren Made approached Lucy's monolithic form. "You two are looking for Penumbra, correct?" She asked with a sigh, clutching a dry looking grimoire. Ami almost seemed excited, rushing over to get a good look at the woman.
"A-Are you going t-to guide us to Penumbra a-and lead us on a fantastical quest!?" She asked in a chipper tone. But the woman shook her head, handing over the book over to Lucy. "No. I'm just here to give The Demon Penumbra's book. She's already gone." The siren smiled, tapping a frilled wing against Ami's head.
Lucy on the other hand, looked upset. Finding out that her only other relative was already gone was... "Wait." The siren quickly swam over to the Leviathan and tapped her hand against the pitch black cover. "Peni's grimoire holds all her former power. Well, all the knowledge she had on her own Heart. If you ever want to truly let go and go mad with power... Just give the book your name and it will bestow you your old one. From a time that no longer exists."
Lucy stared down at the blank piece of paper, noticing it seemed to have quite a bit of information erased from it. Weird. Maybe Penumbra had a plan for her after all.
It did bring her a bit of comfort to have something of her estranged aunt after all. They never got to speak much, even when they were on the Void Voyage.
Though Ami seemed more distraught. Not only having lost her sort of friend and sort of mentor, but that this mission was so short. She wanted a wild story to tell Avis, but all she got was... A bubble ride.
With that, the two began swimming away. Back to the surface with new knowledge in hand.]
