My Rockstar System follows Abel, a quiet, video game-obsessed teenager who dreams of escaping his bullied and ordinary life to become a rock star. My Rockstar System

A&V, an upcoming pop band, is recruiting young, talented musicians. Are you an expert guitarist, pianist, drummer, or have magical vocals? This chance is for you. Interviews will be conducted from the 1st to the 15th of this month at the Reed Resort, just next to the State Capitol building.

The two teenagers read out the shiny ad displayed on the neon screen.

"You have to be kidding me," Abel exclaimed in awe.

How coincidental would that be? That right when we were looking for a way to sustain our lives, a golden chance shows up seemingly speaking to me.

"Goodness, Abe, you have to give it a try," Hilsa answered, similarly awed by the sudden opportunity. "Think about it, with your skills, I bet they will take you right away."

Abel knew that was a bit of an exaggeration. He could play—hell, he could even argue that he was good, but he was no pro. Not yet.
