Chapter 101 Unfair?

"Since there won't be any problem with the Director, count me in," Zen agreed promptly. "After all, all I'll be doing is riding the horse anyway."

Somehow, Hera felt a pang of annoyance, and her eyebrows twitched. 'All they have to do is ride? Ha! Typical of the geniuses!'

"I would love to join too," Hera replied calmly, maintaining her composure.

Xavier looked up for the first time and chimed in, "Me too."

Upon hearing their responses, Bry's Dad and Uncle were both ecstatic. Initially, Bry's Dad and two other friends were supposed to be the ones racing on Saturday with the horses Hera, Zen, and Xavier had used to race earlier.

The three horses would be used for the race, and they wanted to be as careful as possible, especially with Diamond. They wouldn't want to let them run around unsupervised. However, after Bry's uncle heard Bry and his brother's story about Hera taming Diamond and running at full speed, he had an epiphany.
