"Oh!" Dave exclaimed as he was about to check on Hera, but Xavier subtly evaded his touch.
The move only deepened Dave's suspicions, causing him to pout.
He didn't say anything, though; he knew Hera was sleeping soundly, and he didn't want to disturb her either. Instead, he pulled out his phone and texted his assistant.
[Dave: Hey, I need to leave the country for a few days. Cancel all my appointments for today and the next three days.]
[Assistant: !!!]
[Assistant: Young Minister, where are you going?!!! Your grandfather will have my head if he finds out!]
[Dave: That's why I'm telling you now—so you can figure out a way to keep it from him.]
