'Please don't.' Gwyneth mouthed, deepening Sirius' frown.

Atticus raised his brow, perplexed. He turned to look behind him, but there was no one there. Nonetheless, he could feel a sharp chill of ferocious terror tearing through his veins. It was so intense that he held his breath.

He returned his gaze to Gwyneth. "How about the dance?"

"I am not interested in dancing with you." Gwyneth rubbed her wrist, managing to maintain her composure. It really hurt. And Sirius was even more infuriated by her reaction than he already was.

Atticus shrugged, clearing his throat. "We can leave right now."

"I do not want to leave, either." Gwyneth glared at him, doing her best not to look at Sirius, who had murderous intent dancing in his flaming blood red eyes.

"Do you underestimate me, Your Highness? Everyone in this manor will die," Atticus threatened again.
