The rich and powerful held all the resources and enjoyed all the riches of the world while subduing the commoners. The big families all have strong Mages and cultivators, who control the flow of techniques and treasures.

In this world, Kai, who was born with the memories of his past life just wanted to live happily with his loving parents, but before he knew it the tragedy of his past life repeated itself, making him realise the cruelty of this new world. This is the story of a boy, of a transmigrator whose sole reason for living was his family, of a demon who would eradicate anything and everything that is a danger to his family.

Demonic Legacy

Kai's attempt to stop himself by tying his feet had failed badly, it seemed.

But not only that, as he looked around, Kai saw how all the trees that were standing tall not too long ago now lay in pieces all over the ground. Countless trees were now nothing more than small pieces of wood.

Even though most of them seemed to have been cut cleanly by a sword, none of it seemed like the work of a human. He saw that many trees were broken through punches and divided into smaller pieces by brute force.

He sat up and looked down only to notice that his knife was broken; it lay some distance away in countless pieces. That explained why some of the trees were broken by brute force and punches.

"Is this really all my doing? And with such a knife at that?" Kai wondered. With his current capabilities, he didn't think he would be able to achieve such a result easily.
