This Is Not Over, Jace.

"Let's leave," Jace ordered.

"But I'm not done with her, I'm still talking with her," Trent objected.

"We have nothing to talk about, Mr…" Grace trailed off, pretending to have forgotten his name again.

This of course caused the vein to throb in Trent's arms.

Was she deliberately trying to piss him off in the presence of Jace? How can she not remember his name after drumming it in her ears in their last meeting.

'Well, she shouldn't blame me for being callous. I think I've given her enough face already.'

"You can't leave," he said and stood in front of Grace."

"What do you mean? Why can't I leave?"

"Yes, why can't she leave?" Jace echoed Grace's question and at the same time whisked her behind him, making him the one standing in front of Trent.

"Do you really want to do this, Jace?" Trent asked, his question hanging like a threat in the air.
