"But who is she?" Todd could only ask
Jace leaned back in his chair, his jaw tight and his expression unreadable. "I'm working on finding out soon. This… imposter thinks she can just stroll into our lives with my late wife's face and reap where she did not sow?" His lips twisted into a bitter smile. "She has no idea who she's dealing with and what's coming to her."
Todd exhaled while shaking his head. "And Charles? Does he—"
With a satisfied snort, Jace said, "Fortunately, Charles wants nothing to do with her. He doesn't even see her as his mother. To him, Grace is the only one who matters. And honestly… I don't blame him."
"Grace," Todd echoed, swirling his glass thoughtfully. "How is she taking all these after she came back? Hope she's not planning to run away any time soon?"
