Chapter 1 : How it all started

Zeus corporation,Romania HQ,year 2019(February):

9:00 PM:

Alarms were blaring and the entire underground floor was lit up with red lights. A boy was seen in front of a computer with a large screen typing at a very fast speed. He was collecting all the data in that computer and was erasing the collected data from the company backups. He heard dozens of metallic boots clanking towards his location and they would be upon him in 5 minutes. He was done and set up a flat circular object on top of the computer control panel with a timer and he set up the timer at five minutes.

He took up his bag and went towards the vault where everything ever researched by Zeus Corporation was kept. He took up a metal cylinder which barely weighed 1.5 kg, 2 old leather note books and a big brief case and six plates which he put on his body. After he had taken everything he needed he set up another flat round device in the vault and set the timer for 2 minutes. He exited through a vent. 1 minute remaining on the timer. Two figures one male and one female with a few dozen armoured guards entered the room. The man yelled while ignoring the unconscious bodies of the researchers around him and said," Son, we're sorry for doing what we did to you and you have every right to be angry at us but don't leave us we can make amends. Please son we love you and we promise to make it up to you and you can even keep the 30 billion dollars you took we just want you back." The woman yelled," Kiddo, I know our words sound fake but I promise you we will spend more time with you and focus less on supernatural bullshit." The timer hit zero and a metallic voice was heard saying,"Too little,too late." The vault erupted in flames and the big computer was consumed in a white light which enveloped the entire room. And everyone lost their consciousness and when they woke up they couldn't remember anything apart from information about themselves.

1:17 PM Colorado, Denver, America:

A boy watched as the shimmering city of Denver, Colorado came into view. He passed immigration after 13 minutes in the airport after confirming his American citizenship and convincing the TSA that his items in the briefcase and cylinder were fake and made of plastic he was cleared to board the flight flying towards El paso.

3:20 PM El paso county, Colorado:

The plane touched down at Colorado Springs Airport. He got upon a cab and got to his desired destination. It was a large abandoned 3 storied building sitting upon an acre of land. It was meant to be a large museum but it never opened. Only the exterior building was completed but the interior was never divided. He bought the place with the surrounding 2 acres of pine woods for very cheap price because no one was buying it. Half a billion dollars for everything and it was dirt cheap for him. He finally entered the building and took out the metallic cylinder and opened it after pressing some buttons at the handheld controller. Contents of the cylinder flew away at high speed and returned after ten minutes. All pest and mold was eliminated from his property. The geographical data was impressive, his property was enriched with wolframite and scheelite,as well as uranium ore which was quite deep underground but nothing the nanites couldn't mine given some time. As he was scouring through the data suddenly he could feel someone approaching him and he couldn't hear his heartbeat. He quickly opened the briefcase and took out the GLA-001 Revolver and loaded it with a mag filled with cross iron tipped bullets and put it in his hidden holster. A pale boy that seemed like his own age with blonde hair and bluish green eyes approached him and extended his hand and said," Hello, my name is Michael Collins. What's your name?"
