"Sorry for disturbing your talk but there is something urgent we must speak about alone," Ian said, looking to Ryan for him to leave.

"Don't worry. I know when I am not wanted," Ryan said as he stood up.

Scarlet was both confused and worried about how Ian entered the room, asking for Ryan to leave. There was a proper greeting to be done since he came here and found her with Ryan. It wasn't like Ian to come into a room like this so she knew whatever he came to speak about was important

Ian waited for Ryan to leave the room and then approached Scarlet.

"You are to be with Victor and your father right now. Did the plan not go well?" Scarlet asked, wishing he would be quick to say something so she would not worry.
