Murder

EP12

"Are you worried about me, Gyuri?"

There's silence. The pills must have worn off. I feel dizzy and lightheaded.

"I was beaten up, on the street, by a stranger."

"In the street?"

"Yes. I'm on my way to the hospital."

"I see."

"There's nothing more to tell you, Gyuri. You have to start work next week."

"Huh? What kind of work?"

"I've arranged a job for you that will allow you to save your major.

"If I don't work, it's just coffee and nothing else. It's not like I'm selling myself, so don't worry."

"I'm paying you pretty good money, so you just do what I tell you to do."

"Okay."

"We're going to have training in a couple days, so get ready."

Then I texted Heejin.

"You're off work, right? Send me the recording and call me today."

The phone rings within two minutes.

"Did you tell her you're quitting?"

"Yes, I think I'll probably work for two more weeks and then quit."

"So Gyuri will start in two weeks?"

"Yeah, but I'm supposed to hand her over?"

"Yeah, we're all going to meet this weekend to go over it."

"But she could turn out just as bad as me, are you okay with that?"

"Mijin, don't worry about that, that's why I kept you alive."

"Don't be rude and ask more questions."

"No one is white in this world."

"Yes, I'm sorry."

We met at a motel in Seoul.

Gyuri looked strangely excited, her dyed purple hair was tousled, and she was wearing a pretty thick jacket for summer.

The pattern of the motel is a brilliant red.

"Gyuri, this is the teacher who will be handing you over."

She greeted me, trying to look as cheerful as possible.

"Hello, I'm Gyuri Park, introduced to you by Mr. Jungmin."

"Yes, hello."

She sat down and started talking.

"The place where you work is a nursery school, to put it simply."

"I watch children at a nursery school and they pay me a lot of money."

She looked at Kim Mi-jin and said

"Let me explain first."

"Do you have any idea what it's like?"

"Mijin, just explain it to me and I'll explain it to you again."

"First of all, I told the director, you're from the early childhood education department and you're an evil person."

"If you go, you'll be able to save more than 10 million won a month, do you know your sexual orientation?"

"What?"

"This isn't your typical orphanage."

"Do you like to be sadistic?"

"Uh, yeah. When I'm on drugs or something."

"It's an outright criminal organization, a place of profit and child abuse."

Gyuri's eyes widened in shock. She shook her head in disbelief.

"Bitch, don't act surprised.

I wanted her to know that I was in control of this meeting and this conversation.

I needed to make them aware of whose orders they were taking and whose words were the harshest.

That was priority number one, and then everything becomes easy.

"Gyuri, you're not participating in that, you're going undercover to report on a crime."

"You're bullying people, but you're an athlete, that's why I'm letting you play."

"If you turn this down, there's no coffee or anything, okay?"

"Or your husband."

"I'm sorry, let me hear you out again. What's my role? So what?

"You're filling in for me, so I'll keep it simple: food and laundry."

"I also make sure they're prepared for torture and abuse, and do some simple payroll and budgeting."

"Sometimes she participates in the abuse to appear in the video or to be perceived as an accomplice?"

Gyuri asked.

"Abuse, I get it, I've done that, but what about the videos?"

"I shoot sex videos of children and sell them, or make a series of them."

"Or sexual torture, or anything else that can be monetized."

"What? Is there such a place?"

"Please don't work here for long, but help me find out the truth and bring them to justice."

"I told them I'll start in two weeks, so if you have any questions, you can contact me on my cell phone."

Gyuri asks.

"Jung-min, why did you bring me to this place?"

"You just need to go in, wear a hidden camera, go to work, do what you're told, and leave, this plan is not long term."

"All the money I make here will be deposited into your account, and I'll make sure you have plenty of coffee."

"So you know what I mean?"

Gyuri looked uncomprehending, but he couldn't organize such a bold and risky endeavor himself.

It doesn't matter if they are evil or not.

It only matters if they are useful to me. After a brief conversation, I send only Kim Mi-jin out of the motel.

Gyuri ate the coffee and penis I gave her and became meek.

Her will has been ignited. She is now unable to do anything without me.

Like a puppy obeying its master. I still had one more job to do with her as a pawn.

EP13 The Puckett Murders

"Brother, I'm not guilty."

The man who broke my skull was not long in coming.

Looks like my plea for leniency worked.

The only explanation was that the judge was willing to look into his rehabilitation.

He has a criminal record, and it was an accidental assault, but even if he agreed and the victim asked for leniency, he only got one month in jail.

This is attempted murder, almost.

"Thank you so much, you asked me to contact you, so I did."

"I'll do anything you ask!"

"Let's have a drink, then come out."

It would be bad if Dahae knew.

Drinking with her ex. The story gets out of hand.

He reveals the details of his juvenile detention, his rap sheet, and the crimes he committed with the women he dated.

One count of fraud, two counts of molestation, two counts of simple assault, one count of extortion, and one count of robbery.

It's a pretty good resume for a soldier.

Suddenly, he breaks down and cries.

Tears. Red stall at 2 a.m.

"Is this why my mom got cancer?"

"I regret my life so much, it's so jingling."

Hasso-yeon at two and a half hours.

"So what do you need now?"

"I need money."

"That's why we met today."

"Yes, big brother."

"We're about the same age, what kind of brother are you?"

"No, thank you very much"

"Ji-hoon, this is for your mom's care, right?"

"Yes."

"Take this with you. Let's pretend we didn't talk about today."

"Brother, what do you mean?"

"Take it. I can't work with a guy like you."

"What difference does it make if he brags about his crimes. Do you trust him to do his job?"

"What? Brother, I really deserve to die."

"Please forgive me once."

"Dude, I saved your life and you're even uglier than before, and now you're telling me weird stories."

"I really believed you would be rehabilitated, but I was wrong."

"I'm sorry, sir, I'll do whatever you want me to do."

Half an hour of crying and begging passes.

It's almost rainy now. He was definitely a simple character.

Human psychology is so simple that people usually tell stories about how they are.

He's cornered and needs someone to help him.

There is always tragedy and suffering for those whose time is not focused on the present.

He falls to his knees and begs.

"Ji-hoon, please don't contact me again with this money."

"Brother, I'm sorry. I actually have something to tell you."

"Actually, it's no coincidence that I hit you with a brick."

"What?"
