Monster

EP21

Evil is connected.

Evil is contagious.

Funnily enough, it wasn't just one person who was responsible for bullying me and treating me badly.

Just like the fact that Choi Sung-tae, whom I intentionally bumped into on the mountain behind Seoul's night view, is related to Choi Sung-mi, the director of the nursery school.

The word "contagion" really fits. Contagion happens for both good and evil.

It's just that good is harder to do, so we see more contagion of evil.

Are you familiar with the three-person hypothesis, which states that if three people are staring at the sun in the middle of the street, people will glance up and look at the sky?

Like when your teacher told you that yawning is contagious.

If you've ever been to a soccer stadium or concert, you know how easy and simple it is to be herd-centered.

Of course, it's not that we don't understand the people who are doing it, but evil is evil.

It takes a strong mind and logic to not be swayed by herd mentality and avoid the contagion of evil.

In a way, goodness is tired and tiresome.

For example, when I was bullied at school or harassed at my day laborer job in a nursery, no one protected me.

What saved me was strong, grueling physical exercise and the motivation of revenge.

Isn't this the beginning of verse 2?

 Contagion

 -Park Jung-min (Park Se-hoon)

A single drop in pure water

One stem that pierced the wall

 One look that seemed easy

 decides life and death

 Throw a stone without thinking

 The frog that gets hit

was not hit by the first thrower

 who threw it first.

 In pure water.

just one drop as a spoiler

 That's Your Sin

EP21.5 Choi Sun-mi's Diary

I employ a lot of people.

Our nursery school has a total of six directors, including me.

I've been doing this for over 20 years, so my love for children is quite strong.

In the beginning, I didn't take care of children in this way.

When I started this work in the late 1980s, I remember there were a lot of illegitimate and abandoned children.

So I applied for the job because the support and benefits for the nursery school looked good.

I graduated from Kyungsook University in Seoul with a degree in early childhood education.

At first, I took care of the children with love.

Gradually, I worked my way up to the position of director, but by the late 1990s, it became difficult to make ends meet.

My family's business was faltering, the government was providing little support and hiring additional teachers, and I was struggling to make it to the position of director.

I suddenly remembered a bad memory and felt resentful as my childhood experiences of abuse replayed in my mind.

I was the child of a rape, which is funny.

And now I had a job protecting abandoned children.

Something was brewing inside me. My mom raised me as an only child, telling me she could see the rapist in your face, emotionally abusing me and sometimes punching me.

Fortunately, my family situation was not bad, and I lived and studied on my own since high school, but I still have a distant relationship with my mom.

At the time I had such hateful feelings, I was introduced to the nightlife and drug culture in Korea, and I became a little debauched.

I made a lot of friends and hired them as teachers at our nursery school.

Even as the director, I didn't have the authority to replace everyone, but the government at the time had to stop the IMF, not care about one nursery school.

So the drug dealer became the deputy director and the pornographer became a teacher.

I was thinking about starting a full-fledged business when an idea flashed in my head.

Pornography, I knew.

I knew that domestic pornography had its limitations. The combination of good citizenship and Confucianism makes it difficult for us to watch pornography even though we are adults.

We had a programmer friend who was fluent in foreign languages, and I suggested to him that we turn our nursery into a business.

We made rules, controlled the children, and sexually abused them like a cult.

The naked pornography spread like wildfire not only in Korea but also abroad, especially among pedophiles.

The Kubon Society, which was fluent in the language and a financier, was in charge of subtitling and filming.

The rest of the teachers were brought in and given welfare to quench their sexual appetites.

Our profits grew from a few million won to a few hundred million every month, and the government wanted to find us, but unfortunately they couldn't.

The domestic situation was not in a state to be focused on this shitty porn.

Most of our students had dropped out of school, had no higher education, and wore very little masks and blurry mosaics.

Anyway, the money grew.

I gave most of the proceeds to a relative's struggling business.

Choi Sung-tae is my nephew and I gave the proceeds to his father.

They had a big tire business, and they were struggling because of the IMF, fewer people were buying cars, fewer people were driving.

I gave them the money in exchange for connections and public power.

Whenever we got caught, the police and political circles would cut us off, and we were able to move around like a lawless zone.

The porn money and firepower was growing by the day, and the kids kept coming.

Also, once I started doing this, I actually cleaned up my debauchery so that I could make porn and abuse children from a cleaner, clearer mind.

The same way my mom used to abuse me. Those who are born raped are doomed to suffer.

They have to endure the presence of an unknown father and the persecution of a mother.

Anyway, it's all about the system and the distribution.

Our system is pretty solid and we have two people in the idea team who come up with the ideas for the porn, two people in the preparation team who manage the money and set up the equipment and lighting, and two people who star in the porn, including me. Our nursery is full of medals and plaques.

From national awards to mayoral citations, it's funny.

The world is full of contradictions, for example, a celebrity who used drugs and acted erratically, and the public thinks they are full of personality until they find out the truth.

It only goes to extremes when the truth comes out.

I'm probably going to hell.

I'll be beaten to death, but I won't have anything to say.

The screams of the children I've helped and the suffering of the drug addicts who are still alive deserve to die many times over.

But the funny thing is, I'm well-fed and well-lived. Isn't it?

The idea of reincarnation is ridiculous.

I didn't get punished in this life.

I don't even know there is a next life.

A common misconception about the wicked is this.

That they were born evil, that they were never taught public manners, and that their minds are filled with thoughts of evil all day long.

Answer my question.

You call yourselves moral, and yet you masturbate and giggle while watching pornography that I produced.

What you're looking at is someone's life.

You ignore that, and then you prescribe a worse evil.

Evil in the world is usually for no reason.

What sin are we going to attribute to the many children who were filmed having sex and being drugged in our daycare centers?

Did they commit some sin in a previous life that caused them to be born out of wedlock, abandoned in a baby box, and bullied by people like us? I don't think so.

There is no reason. Most things that have happened or will happen to someone are "just so," like a freak accident killing someone.

There is no reason or rationale for bullying.

There is no reason for breakups or love.

Enough of the bullshit, let's get to our dogma and promotion.

1. keep quiet about what's going on here and don't rebel against your teachers.

2. some of the proceeds from pornography are distributed to the children, and drugs are sold in small quantities.

3. Discipline exists for a reason. Physical punishment is used for rebellion.

4. the death penalty for trying to tell anyone about it.

5. watch a pornographic video three times a week and write a reflection on it

6. do not read internet and music books. Only learn Korean and learn food recipes.

Crazy.

But what can we do? Our videos sell like hotcakes, and when they get out of prison as adults, we get paid handsomely.

And when they get out, they never report it.

Even if they did, they wouldn't be believed, and the police were definitely on our side. 2009.
