Chapter 74: Welcome to Allan Fort [1]

A young Huey sat atop a small pile of knocked-out thugs, holding an open paper map. He stared at its contents with a wistful expression.

He sat cross-legged like that for a couple of minutes, humming thoughtfully to himself. From time to time, his brows would furrow; at other times, they would arc in surprise, curiosity, or outright bafflement.

"Where to now?" he murmured, his brow tensing again as he brought the map closer to his face.

It had been a couple of weeks since he was forced out of his household by his grumpy old grandpa to embark on the family's ridiculous old tradition. Huey had already traveled a small portion of his country — a very small fraction of the continent.

But within those weeks, he had already seen things and learned of places he never would have imagined.
