Chapter 157: What Happened

With a tight groan and moan, Huey tossed and turned in his sleep as his eyes suddenly shut open and beamed like blood red gems cast in the fires of a furnace. His vertical yellow pupils which had returned after hiding them away while at Allan Fort narrowed piercingly, glowing fiercely like the gaze of a sharp predator.

As Huey snapped awake, suddenly a vast overwhelming pressure spread through the vicinity of the room, causing the air to feel heavier. Murderous intent and bloodlust rippled and billowed outward like a storm from Huey's body as he rose to sit up, his eyes were vacant and spread wide open, and his gaze as sharp as a blade's edge.

It was clear although Huey was awake, he wasn't fully conscious of his state. His intent billowed ferociously like a stifling cloud, when suddenly, the side of Huey's face twitched and his upper body immediately arched with pain as he groaned.
