Chapter 2.5 - Hello.

"Hello?"

Monica looked over at the door, her blood quickly draining from every inch of her body, turning pale like a ghost.

A knock on the door, no sooner than the moon had gone up.

A voice asking for a reply.

She didn't reply.

Her hands moved faster.

The Lady of March had arrived.

The Guards would be more focused there.

In the commotion, in the night, she hurried out of the back door, rushing through the back alleys.

Her suitcase struck a stray stone, and she dropped it, leaving it without hesitation, her heart was racing.

It wasn't worth it.

Getting involved with Sin wasn't worth it at all.

She cried terribly as she ran.

It was just supposed to be a simple favor.

That was all.

Just pass over a note.

That was it.

…that was it…

A wall?

Here?

She looked up.

Snickers rose from the shadows of the alley.

"...Hello."
