Chapter 61 - Spirited

Eida walked as fluently as any lady of her age, with her hands in front of her, and a straight back, only a few steps behind Argo.

She felt like burying her head in the ground and never coming back out.

Why did she have to say anything at all?

It kept replaying in her mind as she looked at the girls head snuggled into the groove of Argo's neck.

...Even her cuteness couldn't distract her from that fresh memory, she just wanted to rip her face off, but between the shame of looking like a complete lunatic, and the suffocating embarrassment in the silence, she could feel even the blood flowing through her body.

All she could do was continue awkwardly walking, internally wanting to jump out of her skin and disappear anywhere.

She was at least glad to have the mask, to hide her tomato red face.
