Chapter 66 - Deride

Her big round eyes took in everything inside of the moving fortress of a carriage, with it's intricate designs and very comfortable furniture and floor, she traced her hand over every surface she could get to.

Eida reached out to calm her down, but two pairs of eyes both turned to stare at her hand, and she quietly retracted it back to her lap.

She wanted to escape this carriage as soon as possible.

While she had been dressing up after waking up this morning, she had seen at least a dozen servants flying past, with different sheets of paper, some stacked quite high.

Since the last time he spoke that night she had not heard him say a single word again, quietly sitting across from her with his arms crossed, and his head perfectly in line with his spine.

Her cheeks were rosy as she quickly looked away.

...He really didn't look handsome, but for some reason... he was almost attractive? Her stomach churned at the thought.
